Perched right on the dunes of Ponte Vedra Beach, our 2-storey Ashley Beach House is ideally located for your next vacation. Enjoy the view of sea, sand, and sky from our second-storey sundeck, first-floor patio, and 2 master suites! Sweeping vistas are yours to behold at Ashley Beach House. The living room is spacious and yet homey, with bright red and blue accents, a big TV with DVD player, luxurious couches and chairs, and a wall of windows that leads out to the second-storey deck and offers a nice view of the ocean. You'll find yourself gravitating to this room at all hours of the day with a good beach read or a glass of something frosty. It's cozy and friendly! From the living room, of course you must slip out onto the second-storey deck, complete with safety rail and sturdy wooden lounge chairs. This deck runs the length of the house, and is your window on the world, overlooking the dunes, your private beach boardwalk (which departs from the first floor, a quick set of steps away!), the coquina-shell sands of Ponte Vedra Beach, the sparkling waves, and the horizon. If you can wake up early one morning, come out here and witness the dawn breaking over the sea -- there's nothing like it! And watch the sea and shore birds soaring past at all hours. Our beach is long, beautiful, and uncrowded; you will love watching the tides here! Of course, you can see (and hear) the ocean very well from the kitchen and dining room too. Both of these areas offer big windows with breathtaking views. You'll love how modern and spotlessly clean everything is, from the formal table for 6 in the dining area to the informal breakfast bar (a great place to set up your laptop -- you do have free WiFi here at Ashley Beach House!) in the kitchen. One of our favorite spots is the window over the kitchen sink, because even if you're stuck loading the dishwasher, you can glimpse the beauty all around here! By the way, our kitchen is stocked with everything but food: we've laid in all the cookware, dishes, utensils, and gadgets you need to prepare and serve anything. The side-by-side fridge has ice and water in the door, the freestanding island offers a nice second worktop, and the cabinetry is custom. Of course, you may just find yourself eating out in the terrific local restaurants during this vacation, in which case you'll appreciate the microwave and coffeemaker most of all! But whether you spend 2 fleeting minutes or 2 hours a day in the kitchen, you'll enjoy how well-appointed and pleasant it is. Also on the second storey is a half-bath, convenient to all the rooms. The bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms are all downstairs, which is very useful for maintaining quiet when the small children go to bed early and the big ones are still loud and active! Ashley Beach House has not one but 2 master suites -- perfect for 2 families traveling together! (Why should just one couple get an en-suite bath and beachfront view?!) Each suite has a king-sized bed, TV, and big window. One bathroom contains a walk-in shower, while the other has both a shower and tub option. Both are newly renovated. And the third bedroom, with a comfy queen-sized bed and TV, has a full bath just outside its door, off the foyer leading to the big covered patio and down to the beach. Just as the kitchen is fully supplied, the beds and baths at Ashley Beach House all have fresh linens, blankets, pillows, and towel sets waiting for you. Our laundry room is yours to use, so feel free to pack light. It's so nice not to have to worry about bringing extras when you're on holiday! Note: Garage use is not available. Garage is used by owner for his personal items. You are also a short drive from the Seranata Beach Club, a private club offering dining, fitness and spa, swimming pools and cocktails, indoors or at the pool bar.
