Creek Side Cottage in Ouray

This cottage is near Ouray, Colorado, which is a quaint Victorian era mining town, nestled in a steep walled canyon with breath taking views of Colorado's San Juan Mountain Range and nearby waterfalls.  The Ouray area is often referred to as the Switzerland of America, and gem of the Rockies.

Located in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Southwestern Colorado, this warm and inviting cottage sits next to a small creek.  This charming cottage is furnished in a country style, is very clean and is well suited for a couple or small family as it has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a double and twin bed.  There is one bathroom.  The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, silverware, pot, and pans.  The living room is cozy with sofas, overstuffed pillows, and a wood burning stove.  The cottage is equipped with TV and VCR/DVD player, and an out door grill.

The town of Ouray has a natural hot springs pool for swimming, and the great beauty of the surrounding area invites you for hiking, fly fishing, horse back riding, mountian biking, four wheel driving, sight seeing, and golf.  Ouray and the neighboring towns of Ridgeway and Telluride have many good restaurants for your enjoyment.  If you come in late September, there are also great views of the autumn foliage. 

The rental fee for the cottage is $995/week (Fourth of July week at $1250/week), or $180/night with a four night minimum.  The cottage is non smoking, and because of the swift moving water in the creek near the cottage, no children under the age of eight please.
