Beachfront house on Potomac-Chesapeake Bay in Northern Neck

Enjoy beautiful Chesapeake vistas and a fine white sand beach at this spacious, family-friendly beach house. Five fully-furnished bedrooms sleep up to 10 comfortably. Private pool. Excellent fishing, kayaking, swimming, beachcombing, crabbing, barbecue/picnicking, and hiking. Dolphins, osprey, bald eagles, pelicans, and hummingbirds live in the area. Within an 8-15 minute drive, you'll find restaurants, shopping, vineyards, antique shops, charter fishing boats, museums, a free ferry to Sunnybank, and ferries for day trips to nearby Chesapeake Bay islands. Just two hours from Richmond and three hours from Washington. Available for weekend, weekly or monthly rental.

Note: House is limited to nonsmokers. Renters are expected to bring bath and beach towels, soap, and paper towels (bed linens provided).  House must be in "as found" condition on departure, including cleaning of bed linens using the on-premises washer/dryer. Overnight stay is limited to registered guests not exceeding 10 persons.

Short-stay rental (2-night minimum)

• $500 for 2-day weekend (all seasons)

• $750 for 3-day weekend (all season)

Weekly rental

SPRING Pre-Season: (March 21-June 14) Weekly Rate:  $1000 for a 7 night stay, with Saturday check in/out

SUMMER Season: (June 15-September 30) Weekly Rate:  $1500 for a 7 night stay, with Saturday check in/out

FALL/WINTER Post-Season: (October 1 - March 20)  $1000 for 7 night stay with Saturday check in/out

Reservation policy: We lock in your reservation upon receipt of 50 percent of rental fee, plus a $250 advance security deposit. The remainder of the rental fee must be paid no less than 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival. The $250 security deposit is returned within 7 days if the house is left in 'as found' condition.

Cancellation policy: All advance payments are fully refundable if we receive your cancellation notice 21 or more days before your reserved date of arrival. In case of later cancellations, the rental payment is fully refunded, but the $250 security deposit automatically converts to a late cancellation fee.

Note: Minimum stay for holiday weekends (Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Eve, and Valentine's Day) is three days.
