Within the Ferringway Resort Condominiums, you will find Casa de Durango.  It is close to downtown Durango (1.3 miles), Fort Lewis College, Hillcrest Golf Course, and hiking trails are available just outside the condo. 

This tastefully decorated and fully equipped unit features a spacious living-dining area with fireplace, complete operational kitchen, one bedroom, one bathroom, and can conveniently sleep one to five people.  The Casa de Durango provides a pristine, comfortable place to appreciate and enjoy the beauty of Colorado for a cost of less than a single room in a nearby hotel. 

A Durango Transit Bus stop is located right outside the Ferringway complex. The Durango Transit Bus goes by the complex every 30 minutes. This allows you to have easy access to downtown Durango without having to deal with parking.

Casa de Durango was exactly what my fiancee and I were looking for! It was equipped with everything we needed from a large screen TV to modern and nice appliances in the kitchen. The owners were very helpful and friendly over the phone/internet and we were never disturbed or bothered by any neighbors. The condo was only about 1.5 miles from downtown which was perfect for us. Everything we needed to know was thoughtfully placed on instructions in the apartment which was greatly appreciated by us. Overall, it was a great stay and we would return in a heartbeat!

Recommended for: families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway

Feel At Home

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. The owners do alot to make their guests feel at home and comfortable. We found the property clean and well maintained with a well stocked kitchen that will make anyone who enjoys cooking their own meals on the road easy and economical. There are several grocery stores close by as well as resturants if you prefer to kick back and take it easy. Main street is a just minutes down the hill from this condo and your door to all types of shopping and people watching activity imagineable. You will climb some steps from the parking lot to get up to the condo since it is on the third level, but if you are like me, you could incorporate it into your excerise program for the day. If you stay in the summer, it can get a bit warm during the daytime with no central air. There are two small window units, but these cannot get the rooms cooled down as efficiently as central air. Comming from Texas we are used to central air and that maybe be more of a personal preference in comparasion. The master bed matress is quite comfortable. However, my husband preferred the Futon since it helped his back and our grandaughter slept comfortably on the full size sleeper sofa. The condo has adequate space for a small family or group of friends/couple to stay.
