vacation rental description
The Garden Cottage is light and airy, and was completely renovated for the 2010 summer....all new kitchen cabinets/appliances and full bath.....freshly painted throughout and refinished wood floors.
10 - 15 min walk to a beautiful 7 mile sandy beach or park in the public spaces on Union Ave.
Play at the beach or amusement park and pier and then come home to a quiet residential neighborhood. On the corner of three dead end streets with a nice yard safe for children. Sit in the sun or relax in the shade of a giant oak tree.
Saturday to Saturday rental.
No smoking, no pets please, no fires of any kind on premises.
Security deposit will be returned in 7 days if no damage, or smoking, pets, fires.

Fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker. Enough basic provisions to start your stay: salt and pepper, sugar, tea, coffee, paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, etc.

Sleeps 5-6. One queen with window air conditioner. one full, and one bunk-bed

Old Orchard Beach is a family friendly, beautiful 7 mile sandy beach with lifeguard stations all along the beach. Surf the waves, build sand castles, and relax to the sound of the waves. Enjoy the waterfront amusement park rides. There are free fireworks every Thursday night.
Lots of child friendly attractions nearby...mini-golf, Aquaboggin Water Park, Childrens Museum of Maine, Maine Indoor Karting, Funtown/Splashtown Ride and Water Parks....
The Garden Cottage is also close to other lovely Maine beaches. Enjoy the rocky coast at Two Lights Park or charming Crescent Beach State Park. Walk the nature trails at nearby Ferry Beach State Park, or bike the nearby Eastern Trail.
Twenty minutes from Portland. Enjoy shopping and dining on the restored Old Port Waterfront, the Portland Museum of Art, farmers markets on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday morning, take a whale watching cruise or a ferry to one of the offshore islands.
A little further up the coast are the L.L.Bean and other factory outlet stores at Freeport, the historic town of Bath, and hiking at Bradbury Mtn. State Park.
Lots of wonderful restaurants nearby or bring home lobsters from any of several markets.

A $250 security deposit required along with payment in full prior to rental. Security deposit will be returned in 5 business days if no damages, or smoking, pets, or fires on premises and house is left in same cleanliness as when you arrived.
