The main room has rustic wood-paneled ceilings, adding to the vintage charm of the cottage. The kitchen has everything you'll need to prepare the fish you caught earlier that day, and you can enjoy them at the small, sun-drenched dining table. Settle in with a good book on the comfy sofa, made even cozier with a fire in the wood stove on chilly nights. The bedroom has a queen bed, and the loft has a twin futon, plus extra mattresses for additional guests. There's also a television with DVD player, but the best part of the house is undoubtedly the expansive wraparound deck, which is bathed in sunlight in the afternoons and the perfect place to breathe in the ocean air. The cottage is also pet-friendly, so no need to leave any family members behind.
The house is just a short five minute walk to a long stretch of sandy beach, reaching all the way to Oceanside. Spend a day strolling along the sand to this quaint coastal town, or head to Netarts Bay for some of the region's best clamming, crabbing, and fishing.
