Barefoot Resort Aug17-31 Open Beach 1.7 mi in North Myrtle Beach

Family Room - sofa, chair, TV.  Kitchen has a lovely breakfast bar, cherrywood cabinets, corean countertops, full appliances and completely stocked for cooking and entertaining.  Full sized washer and dryer tucked in closet beside kitchen.  Dining room  has large table and chairs.  Living room has  sofa and loveseat, entertainment centre with TV and Dvd. All windows covered with 2 inch wood blinds.  Master bedroom has king bed, reclining chair, beautfiul cherry wood bedroom suite, 32 inch TV and cathedral ceiling.   Master bathroom has double sinks, soaker tub and separate marble shower and walk in closet.  Garage for storage of beach and sports equipment.  Drive right to the front door. 

Bedroom two has two queens with ensuite bathroom.  Bedroom 3 has queen bed.  Bedroom 4 has double bed.    Bathrooms total  3 full, 1 powder room.  All mattresses are pillow top.  All mattresses are manufactured by Eastman House and double protected by water resistant cover and then a padded cotton mattress pad.  All beds have decorative comforter sets complete with 4 pillows and decor pillows.  The entire house has been painted with taupes, sage greens and pumpkin/goldy colours.  House is cooled by a dual air conditioning unit.  There are 6 TV's and 3 dvd players.  A spacious screened porch houses large patio table and seating for 8.     Parking is abundant, with driveway and parking for 10 cars nearby.   The pool is very large with lots of loungers, tables, umbrellas and outdoor showers.     Charcoal bbqs available beside pool.  Propane bbq available.   This home is well suited to those with difficulty in walking.  You are welcome to borrow dvds, books, magazines, games, sports equipment, cooler, pool toys

Beach - is a simple 8 minute drive past the beautiful beach homes.  Free public parking is abundant with a new 80 car lot.  Our beach is flat, wide, calmer and full of interesting things.  Public washrooms and showers scattered along the beach.  Hourly beach shuttle bus passes through the resort in the summer days.

Pools - the Resort has 14 pools, and we have privileges at three.   We finish many evenings at the North Tower hottub and pool enjoying the views of the Yacht Club and Barefoot Landing.

Smoking - this home is a NON smoking environment and strictly enforced.

Pets - Sorry no pets.  This is a ruling by HOA and myself.  There are pet friendly resorts

Linen Service - I am pleased to provide cotton fitted and flat sheets with a thread count of 320, pillows, cotton thermal blankets, facecloths, hand and bath towels.  Housekeeping will wash and dry linens.  Cllients please bring beach towels.  No surcharge for linens. 

Security - security patrols the resort in white pick up trucks.  My goal is to provide a very safe environment, thus deadbolts, full window coverings, no flammables  permitted inside the garage or house.  Housekeeper and property manager live in Resort to deal with any property issues in my absence.  Barefoot Resort is situated in a very upscale part of the coastline and offers a sense of peacefulness and safety.  Home Owners Association does not permit motorcycles, motorhomes, commercial vehicles, trailers in most sections.

Air Conditioning - dual unit   4 ceiling fans 

Wireless Internet - a secured wireless internet provided to all clients.

Barefoot Resort is a 2300 acre property with 4 golf courses.  You most certainly do not need to be a golfer to enjoy this property.  I do golf occasionally, I am a beach hound.  We have the best of both worlds, trees, flower gardens, walking paths, lawns and lots of space, yet the beach is only 8 minutes.  There is a parade of golf carts back and forth to the beach.

Bi-Lo grocery, drug, bank, liquor at resort entrance, Walmart grocery 5 minutes south, numerous grocery on hwy 17

Hospitals - One 15 minutes north, Second 8  minutes south on Hwy 17

Airport - full service Myrtle Beach Airport, car rental, 20 min south on Hwy 17, taxi service available to resort

Shuttle - beach shuttle operates hourly in summer days.   Schedule inside house. 

Barefoot Landing -is at our entrance  - a massive area with shops and restaurants.  Home to the House of Blues and Alabama Theatre. Broadway at the Beach is 15 minutes south

Golf Cart Rentals - several companies  will deliver carts right to the driveway.  We are well equipped for electric recharging with exterior plugs.  Golf carts must be stored in garage

Beach/Ocean - quiet 8 minute drive,  new free 80 car public parking lot, new washrooms and showers.  Beach chair rental from North Myrtle lifeguards.  Boat Crusing on river at our entrance.  Fishing excursions, casino cruise boats, sightseeing boats 20 min to north at Little River.  Rental of SeaDoosat yacht club.  Banana boat and sea doo rentals on the beach.   Bicycle, scooter rentals

Driving Range, Marina with jet ski and pontoon boat rentals inside Barefoot Resort (1 Minute away)

Shopping -  we have Tanger Outlet Mall, regular Colonial Mall, a bzillion dollar stores, 2 Kirkland's, touristy stores all within a 5 minute drive

Dining - hundreds of restaurants, from fine dining to McDonalds, "Restaurant Row" is just south of us.  A few ocean front restaurants left.

Waterpark and Nascar Go Karting 15 min south

Golf - 100 plus courses - on site, Greg Norman, Davis Love, Tom Fazio - public and Pete Dye -private courses.  Azalea Sands, Beachwood, Possum Trot, Arcadian Shores and Pine Lakes and Waterway Hills down the street.

Aquarium - Rileys at Broadway at the Beach, Zoo - to the south

Yacht Clubs - one at Barefoot, several to the north at Little River

Historical Charleston, S.C. and Plantantion Tours  1 1/2 hrs to south
