Villa Guilena with Private Pool in Naxos Island

The Guilena area is situated right outside the village of Melanes.
Overlooking a beautiful green valley with citrus fruit & olive
groves. Surrounded by farm land, calm & peaceful. Within walking
distance from the village, i.e. mini market, taverna, bus stop, etc.
Surroundings ideal for walks & long picturesque treks.
It is eight kilometers (10mns drive) to town & 5 more minutes to the
beautiful sandy beaches of Aghios Prokopios and AghiAnna, five
kilometers to the old site of Kalamitsia (a deserted 17th century
Jesuit Monestary), and five kilometers to the famous Kouros of
Melanes.

Car hire is essential.

1) Villa Guilena: two-bedroom/1.5 bathroom villa with private pool:

This villa is a two-story building with dome, white washed walls &
blue-green shutters. The ground floor has two bedrooms, one double &
one twin, and a bathroom with washing machine. Each of the two
bedrooms open onto a covered veranda leading to the swimming pool
(10m x 4m) and a sitting area with sun beds and patio furniture. The
top floor has a guest WC, living room with fireplace, dinning area &
kitchen. Kitchen is fully equipped: full size oven, refrigerator,
toaster & electric kettle. Hair dryer and radio/CD player. Both
living room & kitchen open up onto a covered veranda, commanding a
beautiful view of the valley & the hills opposite. There is an
external staircase leading down to the pool area.
Villa sleeps 4. Cleaning once per week.


2) Guilena Guesthouse: two-bedroom/one bathroom villa:

We also offer a 2bdrm/1bthrm villa, a guesthouse that is connected
to Villa Guilena above, with a long paved walkway starting from the
pool area and leading down to its garden. The guesthouse was meant
as an extension, to accommodate larger parties and provide total
privacy as well. It is to be used along with Villa Guilena for
parties requiring up to 4 bedrooms, with the swimming pool located
between both. There are walls surrounding the pool area in Villa
Guilena, which offer total privacy and seclusion to both villas. The
villa/guesthouse has two bedrooms, one double and one twin,
shower/wc, open plan living/dinning/kitchenette. The kitchen has a
refrigerator, full size oven, toaster & & electric kettle. It has a
covered patio overlooking the green valley and the hills opposite.
The living room opens onto a completely private veranda with built-
in sofas & a small garden.
Villa sleeps four. Cleaning once per week.

Prices range from 165-255 Euros/day in Low season, for villa Guilena
alone or with Guesthouse, to 380 Euros/day in High season for both
villas.
Please note that during the High season, Villa Guilena can only be
rented along with its Guesthouse. The possibility of renting Villa
Guilena on its own, is only possible during the Low or the Middle
season.
Minimum rental period is one week.
