New Luxury Waterfront Chalet near Mt. Baker in Mount Baker

The Silver Lake Waterfront Chalet was built for entertaining!  With 2,400 square feet and a wide open floor plan, guests can enjoy the Lake view while cooking in the gourmet kitchen, relaxing in the great room in front of the fireplace or playing games in the loft.  This luxury home was custom built in 2007 and has 3 bedrooms (2 king beds and 1 queen) and 4 twin beds in the loft.  The main floor of the home is handicap friendly with wide doors, low thresholds and grab bars in the bathrooms.  The cozy master bedroom has a gas fireplace, king size log bed, and a 2nd story lake view.  This home does not accept pets, and smoking is only allowed outside.

This 2 acre waterfront property is full of wildlife.  From Trillium blooming on the forest floor in the spring to deer nibbling on tree branches in the yard, there is never a shortage of scenery.  Watch the Osprey dive for Trout in the lake from the patio while barbequing prawns on the propane grill.

Don't forget to bring your swimsuit, because the home has a new 6+ person  hot tub and gazebo overlooking the lake.

Bring your small boat or rent one from us in the summer to go fishing or bird watching on the tranquil 180 acre lake.  Visit the parks department website at Silver Lake Park for more information and trail maps. The boat launch at Silver Lake Park is 300 yards from our dock.  Launch your boat and motor or row across the lake and tie your boat up to the dock during your stay.  There's ample room in the driveway to park your boat trailer.

Located on Silver Lake near Mt. Baker, outdoor activities are abundant.  From bird watching in the back yard (look for the nesting Osprey nearby) to snowmobiling the back country of Mt. Baker, there is no shortage of outdoor fun.  Mt. Baker is famous for the most snowfall in one season attracting skiiers and snowboarders from around the world.

The Mt. Baker region is also close to the Canadian Border (via Sumas).  With the exciting Vancouver nightlife, new Gondola at Whistler and beautiful beaches in White Rock, beautiful British Columbia is a must see.
