San Marino is a gated, guarded
community with a marina, just minutes
from the quaint town of Portobelo,
where you can explore the old fort and
plaza or go a bit farther to the lovely Isla
Grande.  This area is world-renowned
for scuba and snorkeling enthusiasts as
well as bicycling, hiking kayaking and fishing.

All of this about an hour from Panama City

(One and a half from the airport)!

The community is gated with security patrol and guard. You enter on paved and curbed streets with lighting. Upon arriving at the home you enter a covered Car Port. A large oversized Garage is also provided upon request for use. A fully furnished modern kitchen with all the amenities will serve you and your guests perfectly. Eating Bar with granite counter top provides space for 4 persons at kitchen, combined with formal Dining Room with table to seat 8 persons, you wil have ample space for your party. The kitchen, dining room and family room have vaulted ceilings and are of a spacious and open design providing for opulence. At the center of the family room is a over sized plasma TV with stereo and CD  video player. Plenty of comfortable seating is provided. Off the living room is a sliding glass door access to the patio and pool making the whole are very useful and serviceable.  There are 2 other plasma TV’s connected to satellite service providing all your favorite programs and news located in the master and back bedroom of the home. All bedrooms are large with private full baths and lots of closet space for long term stays. Laundry room with both washer and dryer is provided as well. A Large private patio with super grand pool with deep end for adults and shallow end for the children is provided. The vista is fantastic of the Caribbean and surrounding mountains from the patio, and the back yard sits on the seas edge so you hear the surf. Only a few steps to the beach from the back yard.  If you want something special and private this is it!

Two local dive shops provide for water tours and diving. Only minutes from the house towards scenic an historic Portobelo. Many ruins to explore and great hiking in the mountains just across the highway from the entrance to San Marino. All along the beach are quaint restaurants featuring foods from around the world as well as local cuisine. Horse back riding tours only a mile away and canopy tours about 10 miles back toward Panama. Great shopping at the Free Zone in Colon about 30 minutes from the house. The Eastern locks to the Panama Canal about 40 minutes from the house. Great for watching the ships pass through. Many grocery stores about 15 - 30 minutes away. Cuatro Alto Mall and Millennium Plaza provide for shopping and banking services.
