Cottage Al Sole in Roberts Creek

Cottage Al Sole is a Bed & Breakfast Cottage in the romantic,
peaceful countryside of Roberts Creek on the Sunshine Coast of
beautiful British Columbia, Canada. It is a very enjoyable 40 minute
Ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay, West Vancouver. For those who are
considering a visit for the 2010 Olympics, we are very well located
between Vancouver and Whistler.
Accomodations are private and luxurious in a tranquil country
setting. Close to the beach, Sunshine Coast Golf and Country Club,
Cliff Gilker Park with magnificent hiking trails for all levels, the
Equestrian Center and local artisan galleries, guests are invited to
enjoy this private five acre property with all its amenties. In
season enjoy our own naturally grown vegetables and fruits. Our well
supplies fresh, pure and delicious water. Sit by the pond with the
sound of running water, walk the trails in our private forest and
the adjacent forested Crown land with local wildlife in abundance.
The main house offers an extensive library for book lovers, a
covered barbecue area with an outdoor brick barbecue ready for
summer 2007 and a covered Gazebo overlooking the pond and
surrounding forest and garden views. Clear nights show the brilliant
star filled sky in the absence of city lights and noises.
The Cottage accomodates up to four people. The kitchen and
eating area includes a refrigerator, microwave oven and high quality
amenities. To accomodate a variety of dietary needs, the Cottage
kitchen is restricted to vegetarian/dairy use only.
A Queen size pillow top bed in the built-in sleeping nook with
luxurious bedding plus additional Queen size comfortable sleeping
accomodation in the sitting area. Upon advance request, a crib is
available.
The sitting area includes a Flat Screen Sony Bravia TV,
Cablevision, DVD player, Game table and chairs and a sofa bed with
chaise. Internet access is available. A private deck overlooking the
gardens is accessed by a sliding glass door off the sitting area.
A seperate telephone line is provided. The bathroom includes a tub -
shower enclosure, robes, slippers, specialty toiletries.
Outdoor sport activites include Badminton, Bocce, Croquet with
equipment provided.
Languages spoken: English, Italian, Spanish, German. Hosts will
assist with vacation/activity planning.

Naturally grown vegetables and fruits may be harvested by guests for
meals at the property.
Plenty of space for outdoor games with Badminton, Croquet, Bocce,
Frisbee equipment supplied.
Referals to local rental companies for bikes, kayaks, boating,

In Cottage specialty teas, coffees and snacks provided gratis.

The cottage is furnished with Tuscan antiques collected by the
owners combined with reproductions and modern comfortable
conveniences.

Cottage Al Sole is centrally located. The Beach, Golf course,
Equestrian center, beautiful hiking trails are nearby. Fishing and
boating access are nearby. In winter Whistler/Blackcomb ski resorts
is less than two hours including the Ferry . Roberts Creek
is a hub of art and culture. Visitors are encouraged to enjoy a
variety of activities from Classical music, to folk music, fibre
arts, painting, glass blowing and pottery by local artists and
artisans. Home based galleries are scattered throughout the area.

Rates are based on Double Occupancy.
Option 1: Includes Full Breakfast in the main house or delivered to
the Cottage. $150.00 per night (October 1-March 31). $175.00 per
night (April 1-September 30)
Option 2: Includes Full Breakfast in the main house or delivered to
the cottage plus a Full Italian Gourmet Dinner in the main house
with the family. One week reservation for dinner is appreciated. We
will make every effort to accomodate your special dietary requests.
