Oceanview on Tybee Island in Tybee Island

Good, needs tweaking

I was nervous about going to a place with no reviews, but when we got there I was pleasantly surprised. The elevator from the parking takes you straight into your apartment, and instantly you can see the beach out of the balcony. I did need to clean the sliding glass doors as the outside of them was a bit dirty, marring the gorgeous view, but I don't hold that against the property because they are so close to the beach and it was pretty windy so perhaps it was due to sand blowing around and whatnot. The other biggest issue I had was the floor felt a bit grimy upon walking in, like it needed a good mopping. It didn't look dirty, just felt dirty. Also a couple cosmetic issues that I informed the office about so hopefully they will fix. I also didn't call the office with any complaints during our stay, I'm sure they would've fixed everything had I asked.

Other than these issues which are very fixable, the property was great! Loved the location, loved hearing the ocean from my living room! The kitchen was great - very nice, with adequate dishes. The master bedroom was great, and the bathroom was fantastic. I stayed in the queen bedroom, and the bed was squeaky/noisy (I have a baby who was sleeping in the same bed so I was very aware of it). The hall bathroom had a nice shower, and the rest was decent. The couches were comfy, everything was tastefully decorated. Extra towels and pillows were in the washer/dryer room.

I loved the foot shower at the base of the stairs outside, it was awesome! (It's a foot shower and regular shower)

I stayed on the first unit, which still had a great view, as it was elevated due to parking being on street level and underneath the building. I would recommend the 3rd unit if you're super picky about the view because then you're above the power lines (but I didn't notice them until the 2nd day of our stay- not bad at all!) I'm not sure about the 2nd floor view, as they seemed to converge on that level.

Overall, I would stay here again as long as everything was up to snuff :)
