119” screen, the best sound system and HD clarity you’ve ever 
witnessed.  You’ll never touch a DVD with the hundreds of movies on 
the server.  These can be watched separately on any TVs in the house.
·         There is also a state of the art whole house audio 
system.  Tune into XM Radio or plug in your ipod to one of the 
docking stations and listen to it anywhere in the house, by the 
pool, in the steamrooms or wherever just using the volume control 
mounted on the walls in each room – all using the premium Bose and 
Harmon Kardon systems.
·         Wireless high speed internet is provided throughout the 
house, decks and pool areas.  Every TV can also be used to surf the 
net using the provided wireless keyboards.  Check the weather or 
local events listings at the push of a button (literally)!
·         There is a beautiful 2 person steam room adjacent to the 
hot tub as well as a room size 5 person steam room with custom 
murals, rain shower, body sprays, massage shower and standard shower 
for the ultimate spa experience!
·         Two hot tubs.  One overflows into the pool and the other 
is perched on the 2nd floor of the turret.  Watch the game on the TV 
while relaxing in the hot tub overlooking the world.  What could be 
better?

Activities and Attractions

Although you are likely not going to want to leave the luxury and 
amenities of the house, don't forget all the other things the area 
has to offer!  Of course there is Sunday River Golf Club, which 
Travel & Leisure Golf named one of the Top Ten Best New Courses in 
the world and Golf Week named it the #1 course in Maine less than a 
year after opening!  There is also the Bethel Championship golf 
course  and golf school, swimming at one of the many lakes and 
rivers in the area, boating  (kayaks, row boats, motor boats, 
electric boats, float boats, canoes are all available for rent), 
white water rafting (1/2 hr drive), miniature golf, laser tag, paint 
ball, water slides, indoor rock climbing, glow in the dark bowling, 
arcade, hard core rock climbing, hiking, nature photography, wine 
and cheese float trips, waterfall tours, fall foliage tours,  4-
wheeling ATV tours on the old logging roads, movie theater, roller 
blading or skate boarding at Bethel skateboard park, strawberry and 
apple picking,  bird hunting and clay shooting, horseback riding, 
moose and wildlife safaris, fishing, rocking hounding at a local 
mine, braving a natural waterfall/waterslide, local fairs and other 
events,  tennis,   alpaca and other farm tours, and of course,  
mountain biking.  In the nearby White Mountains, enjoy the cog 
railway, the Mt. Washington autoroad, Six Gun City, Whales Tale 
water park, Story Land and Santa’s Village amusement parks, the 
caverns, outlet shopping and tons more.  Enjoy whale watching and 
all that the beautiful Maine coast has to offer about an hour away.  
This is definitely a great place to be for fun and relaxing outdoor 
activities.

Winter:
The Glen House is in a great location. Located the entire length of 
the first hole at the new Robert Trent Jones Sunday River Golf Cub, 
you will witness the most commanding views the course (and area) 
have to offer.  You will love having the private, snow covered 
winter playground as your front yard.  The cart paths are perfect 
for snow shoeing or cross country skiing and the hills are the best 
sledding hills anywhere.  Despite the great proximity to the course, 
the house is wonderfully private and tucked in a wooded corner on 3 
acres of land with our own stream running through it.  You can even 
catch the Mountain Explorer and Sunday River Trolley right at the 
end of the driveway!

Although you are likely not going to want to leave the luxury and 
amenities of the house, don't forget all the other things the area 
has to offer!  From your front door you will enjoy miles of some of 
the East's best-groomed snow mobile and cross-country ski trails, 
backcountry skiing and snowshoeing. Within a 5 minute drive, you can 
enjoy skiing, snowboarding, telemarking, snow tubing, ice skating, 
dog sledding, skijoring, horse drawn carriage rides, fine dining and 
weekend family shows hosted by the Mountain. Within a 10-minute 
drive you can enjoy indoor rock climbing, laser tag, a movie 
theater, skiing at Mt. Abram, and shopping in the quaint Bethel 
village. Within a 45 minute drive you can hike Mt. Washington's 
Tuckerman's Ravine for some extreme backcountry skiing, ice climb, 
shop the outlets in North Conway, take the Cog Railway to the top of 
Mt. Washington to experience what extreme weather really is, and 
view hundreds of miles of Maine and New Hampshire from one spot. 
Visit Storybook Land, Santa’s Village or The Old West. Shop in 
Gorham's charming village.
