vacation rental description
Fabulous Views and cozy gas-log fireplace, what a place to take in the best mother nature and the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer. Southern exposure makes the deck a wonderful place to spend the afternoon soaking up some of the most serene and beautiful mountain scenery you can get. Central heat and Air conditioning, a short walk to the clubhouse and heated swimming pool, WIFI, and totally furnished, just bring toothbrush. Each bedroom has its own private full bathroom. Master bedroom has an entire wall of glass with slider out onto the private deck. RCI Gold Crown rated resort in the Blue Ridge.
From the condo, you're less than a hundred yards to trails entering Pisgah National Forest, and you can take this trail and connect with the "Mountains to the Seas" trail, which also connects to the trails to Mt Mitchell, highest peak in the Eastern US.
Below is the South Toe River where it enters the National Forest Lands, and some terrific trout fishing. We can put you in touch with a fly-fishing guide if you wish, or just go to the red bridge that you cross coming in, and its open fly-fishing from that point upstream until it becomes too steep to climb, perhaps 5-7 miles of stream up into the slopes of Mt Mitchell.
We're only 3 miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway, and 2 miles to the Mt Mitchell Golf Course which is rated 4 1/2 stars by Golf Digest, and also voted #1 semi-private course in the western carolinas by the readers of the Asheville Citizen Times. You'll love this valley course that meanders along the South Toe River. The sound of the river, cool shade of the trees lining the course, and bent-grass from tee to cup, its one of the finest courses you may ever play, and you'll want to come back again and again. Tell them you're staying at Alpine Village, and you'll get a discount.
This truly is one of our best rentals, and if you`re luck enough to find it available, snap it up!
