We offer a 3000 sf home fully furnished and decorated for a relaxing mountain experience. The home is large enough for family reunions, shared friend vacations and small group retreats, or just a single family that wants room to spread out.  Rates depend on final confirmed occupancy. Our home is located at the Alto Lakes Golf & Country Club 10 miles from downtown Ruidoso at an elevation of 7450 ft. The homesite sits on a heavily wooded ridge with predominantly southern views of sunrises and sunsets. There are 5 large sized bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and it sleeps 10 easily.  We have an additional 3000 sf of outside deck area on three levels with spectacular views of Sierra Blanca. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, disposal, stove, dishwasher, utensils, cookware, and a breakfast bar.  Other features include a family dining table, vaulted greatroom and a separate downstairs media/gameroom for entertaining.

Ruidoso is located in the Sacramento Mountains of the Lincoln National Forest in New Mexico, the Land of Enchantment. Home of Smokey Bear. It's a very popular year-around mountain vacation destination in the Southwestern United States.  Our home, at an elevation of 7450 feet is located at Alto Lakes Golf & Country Club, a member-only golf and country club community ten miles north of Ruidoso, and is less than 1/2 miles to the Ski-Run Road turn-off to Ski Apache which provides some of the best skiing & snowboarding venues on 12,008 foot high Sierra Blanca slopes. The area is rich in western historical lore - the Lincoln County Wars - Billy the Kid and Pat Garrett. Ruidoso offers unlimited year-around opportunities for recreation in the Lincoln National Forest including managed hiking trails, horseback riding, mountain biking, rock climbing. There are three alpine public golf courses, scenic byways, horseracing (Ruidoso Downs), casino gambling (Inn of The Mountain Gods - Mescalero Apaches & Ruidoso Racetrack Casino), antique shopping galore, and an abundance of wildlife-watching for deer, elk, bear, turkey, american eagle, etc. You can enjoy live theatre at the famous Spencer Theater for Performing Arts featuring frequent Broadway and Off-Broadway shows and popular music artists.

Payments

We accept personal checks or PayPal payments for reservation deposits and rental payments. If you pay by personal check, please mail well in advance for receipt at minimum 30 days prior to your stay so there is ample time to clear the bank.
 

Reservation deposit

A $150 fully refundable personal check or credit card deposit will hold a reservation up to 31 days prior to arrival date. This reservation deposit will be converted to a security deposit once your reservation is finalized and confirmed, and will be refunded back to you after housekeeping releases our home following your stay.  A completed and signed Rental Application is required with your final payment. 

Cleaning fee

A $125 cleaning fee will be due at the time your reservation is finalized and confirmed. It is refunded only if you don’t stay.  The fee covers a professional housekeeping service to clean and change the linens after you depart.  It’s a one time charge.

Refund policy

NON-SEASONAL/SUMMER/SKI SEASON (Dec 1 to Mar 30 except holidays)

100% refund of reservation deposit if cancelled before 30 days of arrival date. Cancellations after this date will be 40% non-refundable.

HOLIDAYS

THANKSGIVING/CHRISTMAS/LABOR/MEMORIAL DAY HOLIDAYS - 100% refund of reservation deposit if cancelled before 30 days of arrival date. Cancellations after this date will be 75% non-refundable.
