Carribean condo in Puerto Morelos

The townhouse was designed by a talented Finnish architect with
attention to detail and Mexican culture. It is situated in a
georgeous, small complex surrounding a lovely pool, one block from
the Carribean.

Please note: April and May are excellent times to be in Puerto Morelos.
Relatively dry with few tourists.

This is a vacation home, the emphasis is on the HOME with all the amenities that are needed. You can walk to the beach with ease and continue walking for miles in either direction.
The home consists of three levels. On the first level there is a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room and full bathroom. An outside shower will wash away that sand after a day at the beach. The living room opens onto a patio, next to the lap sized pool, where you can sleep in the hammock or sip your margarita while watching a humming bird work the bright pink flowers. The second level has two comfortable bedrooms, both with a king sized bed.(the second bedroom's bed can be separated and there is a third single bed in that room.) The master bedroom has a balcony with
another hammock. There is a luxurious full bath on this level too. The bedrooms are air-conditioned, though this is rarely needed in the high season. 
The third floor has a single bed tucked into the landing. Step outside and you will have a grand view of Puerto Morelos.

You can eat out inexpensively or purchase food for home preparation in the fully equipped kitchen. One of the joys of Puerto Morelos is the fresh produce available at the weekly traveling market and several fruterias. We offer a WIFI, DVD (with classic movies), boom box with CD's as well as a small but interesting library. Wireless internet now year-round. 

Snorkling equipment is located in the carport. There are four adult bicycles and one child's bicycle, as well as some children's books and toys.  This is a very relaxing and comfortable place.

On site caretakers of the condo complex are fastidious and very helpful for suggestions about activities and places to go. There are a lot of choices, from Mayan ruins, to diving, snorkeling and other water activities, to a jungle adventure tour, to exploring the "real" city of Cancun, or maybe Playa del Carmen. The so-called "Belize" coral
reef, a Mexican national park, closest to the beach in Puerto Morelos. Hire a small skiff and the "lancheros" who run these boats give an excellent tour of the best
spots on the reef. You can, of course, opt to just relax, build sand castles, and enjoy the weather, read, etc. Puerto Morelos is not like the glitzy resort area of Cancun or the sterile "all inclusives." It is more oriented toward peaceful vacations and those who appreciate natural wonders. 
Transportation: Taxi's and bus service are both more than adequate.
We do not own a car in Mexico, but cars can be rented locally or at
the airport. Four adult size bicycles in excellent condition are
included for your convenience and enjoyment.
We will gladly give you ideas for further activities, restaurants,
etc. depending on your interests and length of stay.

Nov 15 - May 15 High season $895 per couple per week $100 each additional person. Discounts for multiple weeks during low season 

Christmas/New Years add $200 per week.

Please note, though occupied Jan-April, this condo may be available during that time at the last minute. Inquire up to two to three weeks before your desired arrival.
