Great place to relax and kick back

This place is fabulous. It has tons of room for everyone. It is in a great neighborhood in a great area. We didnt catch anything from the dock but a manatee did come to visit on a few days which was fantastic for kids and adults alike. The pool was very nice once we figured out how to turn the heat on...I think they had recently had a lot of rain b/c it was quite cool for this time of year. After having the heat cranking for about 6 hours it was like a bathtub. It cost about $80 in electricity, which we anticipated, but it was worth every penny as everyone spent a lot of time in it after that. All in all a great place to go and kick back. The child fence for the pool is awesome - NO worries once it is up and it took 5 minutes or less to set up.

The one warning I would give is if you have small children. The floor in the house is beautiful but CRAZY slippery when it or your feet are wet. It was pouring when we arrived and we stepped in the house and all about went for a ride. You need to be very careful coming in from the pool to make sure you arent wet and you dont leave a trail of water. It was not a problem for our half of the group as our kids were 12 and 13 but someone did have a 2 year old. He had more than his share of wipeouts and tile is not forgiving.

Gorgeous Home.

Our vacation at the Villa was outstanding. The home was gorgeous and the pictures just don't do it justice. The home was very clean, and well laid out. The pool was the highlight of this all, the kids just wanted to be there more than anywhere else. My only issue was w/ the light switches there were so many we couldn't figure out how to turn the pool lights on for 3 days. So maybe some labels would be helpful. Our family didn't want to leave it was so quiet at night just relaxing in the pool, and watching the lizards that would come climb on the screened in patio. We loved our stay and it was a great home for kids. Lots of room to move around.

Recommended for: families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway

Fabulous House at Villa Cape Harbour

My husband and I recently rented this beautiful home. We can't say enough about it. It was magnificient, spacious, with all new and luxurious furnishings. The house is very well equipped and very clean. There is an inter-com system throughout the whole house and music available at all times, which was very enjoyable.
There is exercise equipment, ping-pong table, basketball hoops, & many more games for children and adults, which we found very useful and fun for our grandchildren. The heated pool was extremely nice and very refreshing for daily use.
The location of the house is ideal and easy access to Cape Harbour, restaurants and local shopping. Actually it is a 3 minutes walk to the beautilful Harbour which is very picturesque.
Our house manager Koen is extremely nice and accommodating. He never hesited to help us as soon as we calleld him. For example, there were a couple of amenities needed at the home when we arrived and he immediately came over and fulfilled our requests.
Unlike the above review, our electrical consumption was very minimal and not at all costly.
We had such a wonderful holiday and enjoyed this house so much that we have already booked it for next year. A truly magnificent place.

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway
