The large master suite boasts a spacious walk-in closet.  The living room is equipped with a queen sleeper sofa which comfortably sleeps two.  The bathroom boasts a large garden  tub. Amenities include all new stainless steel appliances, tile countertops, new carpet throughout, new fixtures, gas fireplace, two flat screen tvs, two dvd players, alarm clock, and its own full size washer & dryer.  The kitchen is completely stocked with coffeemaker, toaster, pans, pots, cookware and  much more for your cooking pleasure.

This beautiful condo is perfectly located in the Deer Valley corridor right off the I 17, and the 101.  This easy access to the 101 and 17 makes for quick trips to the finest shops, entertainment, sightseeing, attractions, and restaurants Phoenix has to offer.  The condo is located within walking distance to the, AMC movie theater, Costco, John C Lincoln Hospital and other shopping.  The location also makes for a short 20 minute drive to the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.  And for a change of pace our location gives you a head start on a short trip to the scenic beauty of Sedona.

Charged for damages we did not cause!

My husband and I rented this condo for three months. The main purpose for us being there was to take care of my elderly parents, who winter in AZ and live immediately behind the complex. It was very convenient to shopping, restaurants and I-17/101 loop. Upon arrival, we noticed two good sized dark stains on the carpet in the dining room, in addition to some dribble stains between the dining room and the foyer. Also, when we opened the doorwall, we found that the screen door was nailed shut! Oh well, we decided, they must not want us to go out on the patio! As it turned out, we were extremely busy with my father, who became ill and was hospitalized three different times. When I moved the coffee table, the legs wobbled (it is a very heavy glass table), so I decided not to move it in order to vacuum. I spoke to John the owner about the carpeting, explicitly described the size of the stains to him and informed him that these stains were here when we arrived in Jan, I had tried to remove the stains with carpet cleaner but it did not work. He assured me that it was no problem, stating: "Don't worry about it, Sharon, sounds like red wine was spilled on the carpeting."
Imagine our surprise when, after checking out of the condo, we received an e-mail from the owner, stating he was keeping our entire deposit for the carpet damage, broken screen on doorwall and broken coffee table! The owner also told us there was a tear in the doorwall screen. We couldn't even get the doorwall screen open and did not use the patio. My husband and I are respectable, hard-working individuals and would not lie about this. We did NOT cause any of this damage! I asked John the last time he actually inspected the condo and he said his "cleaning lady" inspects it. The owner lives out of state and rarely visibly inspects the condo. I would NOT recommend renting this condo until the owner gets his act together and hires a property manager.

Owners response: Two of OUR 12 Emails from correspondence of our rentals: OUR email #2 9/8/13 “And secondly, we are not in town until the end of March first of April but we do have two close friends that live in Phoenix and will be able to help if the need arises.” Our email #7 Our Welcome Letter Emailed 12/27/13 “Please don’t hesitate to call us if you need anything!” (This is the last sentence in our welcome letter) Email from TENANT #1 1/4/14 (after their arrival) Just a quick note to let you know we arrived safely. Found the condo without any problem and everything seems to be working fine. Final Email from the TENANT #2 4/9/14 (at checkout) I will write later about my thoughts on what improvements could be made, but, overall we were very pleased with the accommodations! As you can see there was absolutely NO CORRESPONDENCE from these tenants concerning the condition of the condo. I know when we stay in a vacation rental or we rent a car the first thing we do is make sure to let any damaged items or areas are pointed out so we don’t get charged. Sharon did call (this came in late March-they had lived in the condo for two months already, so why did she decide to call then?) about the stain and said there was one spot, which I said I knew about one stain by the table and I did tell her not to worry about. What she didn’t tell me or failed to mention in her complaint letter were the numerous stains and spots throughout the living room and in front of our couch (as if someone had taken something that leaked and carried it to the door and towards the couch leaving dark blackish spots all over the carpet). In 5 years we have NEVER withheld a deposit from a renter. As you can see from the above emails, which were the only correspondence concerning the condition of the condo. Nothing was ever mentioned about the carpet, a broken coffee table, or a broken screen. None of these items came up until we sent the letter about the security deposit. We were in Phoenix got the carpet cleaned in time to have tenants rent the condo that weekend (of course we had to stop by with a new coffee table for them while they were there). Also during the cleaning of the condo (they did see the carpet etc.) a couple came down and they decided on renting our condo next year. And yet VACATIONRENTALS.COM ALLOWS THIS TYPE OF COMMENT to be posted without knowing the whole truth.

Place was very clean and pretty well stocked Could use a small fry pan and more glasse The owner was very accomadating. The cable tv is only basic service so I could not get the golf channel. I had to pay extra to have WiFi installed. The neiborhood is quiet, safe, and convient.

Recommended for: age 55+, people with disabilities, pet-friendly, sight seeing

Our stay at Springs at Yorkshire

This is a great condo. We really love north Phoenix, and this is so convenient, especially for traveling to some of our favorite places in northern AZ, like Campe Verde, Jerome, Sedona, Prescott or Flagstaff, to name a few. No city traffic to fight going north.

But because of the convenient location of 17 and the 101, it was easy no matter which way you wanted to go. Only about 15 minutes to downtown PHX.

You can walk to get groceries, or to Costco or a movie or a variety of restaurants, but lots of great restaurants are with in a few miles. Actually, I think you'd never have to go off Bell RD, which is just a mile or 2 away, because everything you'd ever need is there. There's also fun shopping (and eating) at Happy Valley Mall, only 5 miles or to the north.


The condo is immaculate, and very quiet, and the owner responds very quickly if you have a question or concern. Being gated gives you a safer feel, if that is a concern for some that go to a bigger city.

We would definitely not hesitate to stay here again.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway
