Vacation Rental Description

Casa de Cielo  (Sky House)  Chalet apartments localted 5 minutes from 
the beach


	Get a real jungle feeling while enjoying modern amenities.  
Named Casa de Cielo, or the House in the Sky, this  two story duplex, 
connected by an outdoor staircase is situated in the heart of the 
jungle with monkeys, sloths  and  tropical birds right outside your 
window and a beautiful ocean view to relax and enjoy the sunsets.
	These quaint apartments can be rented as one large unit or 
separately.   The upstairs unit has a private bedroom with a king 
size bed connecting to the upper terrace  with jungle and ocean 
views.   The living area has two sofa beds, cable t.v. and dvd player 
and a fully equipped modern kitchen with a large refrigerator.   The 
bathroom has been updated and has a walk in shower.   There is hot 
water throughout the unit.   Ceiling fans  throughout  let you enjoy 
the natural breezes of the mountain.   This unit is so close to the 
trees you feel as if you are living in a treehouse. Monkeys play in 
these trees and sometimes a daring youngster will even jump onto the 
upper balcony. 
	The lower unit is an efficiency apartment with two single 
beds, a fully equipped modern kitchen with a large refrigerator and 
bathroom with a walk in shower with hot water, eat in kitchen. 
Walk out the door and step right into the pool.

	Outside enjoy the pool with a waterfall which allows total  
privacy.   A patio with a barbeque grill  provides great relaxation 
for outdoor living.  Charlie the iguana occasionally makes an 
appearance to bask in the sun with you while you  sit in the pool.   
Monkeys may pass through the tree over head and on a rare occasion 
even a tropical frog has jumped in.   Children under 14 must be 
supervised by an adult.

	You can get a real look at Costa Rican life from Casa de 
Cielo.  Located right off the road from Quepos to Manuel Antonio you 
turn an Grandma's soda  (she is a real cook she will tell you with 
great pride--not just this rice and beans  (which are quite sought 
after by the locals and tourists alike) .   She must be 95 years old 
but will cook you the best breakfast you've ever tasted.    Continue 
up the road and you will pass several houses all of which contain her 
children or grandchildren.   At the top of the hill Carla (one of the 
many granddaughters) will greet you and escort you to the chalet.    
Carla will take care of any extras you may want-from housekeeping to 
information on anything in the area.

	At the bottom of the road there is an outfitter for rafting 
kayaking, jungle trips .  Down the main road is Manuel Antonio 
National Park with its famous beaches and wildlife.   The beach is 
about five minutes by car but our kids often walk to it.   There are 
also buses and taxis from the road.   You will be in walking distance 
to bars, restaurants, casinos, ATM and PIZZA.  

	Directly above Casa de Cielo  (but hidden by the trees)  is 
GAIA a five star hotel and SPA.  If you feel like splurging for 
dinner,   facials, body scrubs or just cocktails the view is 
magnificent.  
Casa de Cielo would be ideal for students taking local Spanish 
courses.   No wild parties.  No smoking.

Two Apartments, One with private bedroom, king size bed, and two sofa 
beds, kitchen, phone, microwave, dishes, hot water throughtout, tv 
with dvd, modern bathroom, walk in shower, laundry facilities, lower 
apartment is a studio, two sofa beds, full kitchen, full bath with 
walk in shower with hot water.

The pool and patio serve both apartments.
