vacation rental description
Now available for Fall & Winter Rentals
Close enough to enjoy all the amenities and attractions of downtown Asheville but secluded enough to truly feel like you are in your own private estate retreat.
Located at nearly 4,000 feet elevation, 20 minutes from Weaverville and 25 minutes from downtown Asheville. The property line reaches nearly 6,000 feet. This 2,500-square-foot luxury pet/child friendly craftsman home is located on twenty acres of beautifully landscaped grounds and forests with views of mountains and awesome sunrises/sunsets. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings of hundreds of undeveloped acres next door.
The upstairs features a master suite with private balcony, King Bed, Jacuzzi tub and 42” plasma flat screen tv.
The home features 2/3 bedrooms, 2 baths, gourmet kitchen, open stone fireplace, radiant floor heating, decks/patios, custom fire-pit with rock wall seating, backup generator, wireless high speed internet and DirectTV so you won't miss any football games.
There is a separate cottage with walk-around deck on the property with small kitchen, living room and bedroom for additional space if needed.
The property is located a few miles away from Asheville’s newest attraction, Navitat Zipline with fire road access to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Mount Mitchell. Mount Mitchell is the highest peak in the Eastern United States. When not zipping through the treeline, mountain biking, cycling and hiking are some of the other popular activities in the adjacent Pigsah National Forest. This mountain area, bordered by the Blue Ridge Parkway to the east, contains some of the most rugged and scenic terrain in Western NC. Many significant attractions can be found here: large waterfalls and cascades, notably Walker Falls and the 70 foot free falling Douglas Falls.
Pets Allowed.
Children supplies upon request - Toddler Toys, High Chair, Changing Table, Pottery Barn Crib (additional assembly/delivery charge),
