Gorgeous Mediterranean Waterfront Condo: Grand Venezia in Clearwater

This 980 sq. ft. unit is a two bedroom, one bath with a den/office/fireplace with a spectacular view of Tampa Bay from your private balcony. Elegantly furnished with upscale "Tommy Bahama" style furniture, linens, and cooking utensils. Located in the beautiful, gated, waterfront complex of the Grand Venezia. The unit features granite countertops, tile flooring, inside laundry, crown molding, trey ceiling, and large walk-in closet. 

The master bedroom is large with a king size bed as well as a large flat screen tv.  The second bedroom has two twin beds.  Both bedrooms have terrific views facing the water.  My family and I also use this as our vacation/retirement home so we were very selective. The condos in the Grand Venezia are beautiful Mediterranean style villas, and only three stories high so it doesn't have that "highrise" look.  It is peaceful, and relaxing just being there.  Some of the wildlife that we have be seen on walks, or from the balcony are manatees, dolphins, and pink flamingos. 

Only 10 miles from Tampa International airport makes this an easy drive.  Close to many restaurants, small shops, large stores, malls, cinemas, and all the amenities of a big city while still secluded within the Mediterranean paradise of a gated community near the Gulf of Mexico.

This is a resort style complex with upscale amenities.  This includes a million dollar clubhose with a spacious fitness center containing plenty of nice equipment.  A heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, tennis courts, playground, 1.5 mile lighted walking path at water's edge around complex, a Fishing Pier, and a car wash.  There are also free two seat kayaks available for use. 24-hour guard gated.     
The unit is located across from the clubhouse which offers free wireless internet access.  

The unit itself offers Air Conditioning, Two Large Flat Screen TV's, Cable TV, DVD player, Washer, Dryer, Three high end Ceiling Fans, Full Kitchen, Microwave, Dishwasher, Refrigerator, Cooking utensils and linens provided. Large bath with double sinks and granite. Internet is available.

Beaches - Clearwater Beach is 10 minutes away. Easy parking, white sand, and warm turquoise water. It's gorgeous, and there are other beautiful beaches such as Indian Rocks Beach all along there.
Museums - Plenty; some examples: Tampa Museum of Art, Museum of Science and Industry, Salvadore Dali Museum (a favorite of mine), and the Military Aviation Museum.
Hiking/Nature - Caladesi Island State Park - 3 mile hiking trail; the white sand beaches were rated America's Best Beach in 2008.  Honeymoon Island State Park - snorkling, nature trails, and a wide variety of seashells.  
Florida Aquarium - 20 minute drive; great place. Swim with the fish! Google it.
Golf - Cove Cay championship golf course is right next door.
Pier 60 - Great family place with beach, huge fishing pier, shopping, street performers, and other entertainment.
Busch Gardens - 25 minute drive. Orlando theme parks are less than 90 minutes away; all highway. 
Sports - minutes to Tampa Bay stadium. Tampa is home to several major leaugue spring training camps including the NY Yankees.
Fishing - plenty of places within minutes to go fishing from shore, or charter a boat.
Nightlife - There is no shortage of fine restaurants, clubs with bands, comedy clubs, theater, etc. Whatever you enjoy doing in that regard is close by.
Shopping - Outlet stores are close by. Safety Harbor is five minutes away. A nice town with unique shops and restaurants.
