**Please inquire about our other Treehouse properties, we have multiple cabins at this property and another. Our cabins are located across River Road from the Guadalupe River, we do have an exclusive river access for our guests.
Come sleep in the Trees!
The moment you arrive at our property and see the enormous eighty foot cypress trees with decades old wild mustang grapevines hanging from their limbs, you realize you are in a special place. When you notice the footbridge attached to the trees will take you safely across the seasonal creek and to your private treehouse, you know you have found an amazing place to stay. The Tree Houses are located on the opposite side of River Road from the Gaudalupe River.
“Wait a minute, did you say a treehouse?” many people ask. Yes, but this is not your childhood plywood fort of days gone by. Our treehouses are newly constructed, engineered custom cabins with all the conveniences of modern living including air conditioning, wi-fi, cable, kitchens and bathrooms. Picture your own custom cabin, with attached private deck and an open living, dining area and kitchen with a loft above and a master suite attached and a fully functioning bathroom with a claw foot tub/bath combo or shower stall. The treehouses are actually attached to the large hardwood trees that run along the creek, which lend to the picturesque setting that will give you an overall exhilarating experience.
We are very fortunate to be located near a very beautiful part of the Guadalupe River, on River Road between New Braunfels and Canyon Lake. Since we are so centrally located, you will be able to easily access and enjoy many of the best places the Texas Hill Country has to offer including river access from our property, Canyon Lake (a boat ramp is only minutes away), Whitewater Amphitheater and River Road Icehouse, historic Gruene Hall, and New Braunfels, which is only 11 miles from the treehouses.
Many of our guests come here to tube and enjoy the Guadalupe River and take advantage of the ease in which they can access and enjoy the river by simply walking across River Rd. to the river access. By taking a shuttle up river and simply floating back down to the river access, you can tube with your group very easily! **KAYAKS and TUBES NOT included, but can be rented at nearby outfitters. After a long day of tubing and river fun many of our guests enjoy relaxing and barbequing along the banks of the river recounting the day’s excitement. Afterwards you can enjoy the nightlife and many live music venues nearby or simply hang out with your family and friends on your private treehouse deck.
After a day or two of tubing and river fun, many guests change pace and rent a deck or ski boat at Canyon Lake or go to New Braunfels to enjoy Schlitterbahn Waterpark. When your group is ready for shopping, Gruene Market Days or the San Marcos Outlet Malls are only short drives away.
While all of these activities described above are the main reasons many of our guests come to stay, others simply come for a quick escape from the city to recharge their batteries and enjoy the relaxing sounds of the croaking frogs or chirping crickets at night as they watch for shooting stars in the starlit sky. Whether you are looking for adventure or relaxation, you will find it here.
Come for a romantic weekend getaway (we can even arrange for babysitters!) or try your hand in the blue ribbon trout fishing on the Guadalupe. Our property is located next to the spot on the river where they often times stock the trout which makes it a great place to fish! You can wade the river yourself or hire a flyfishing guide to take you down the river in a raft or fishing boat.
Weekly rates are available all season long. Monthly rates are available during the off season and many winter Texans take advantage of our low monthly prices which include all utilities.

cabin rental amenities
Each of our 6 cabins have a full kitchen, one full bathroom and one bedroom with a King. This cabin also has loft with TWO full Day Beds and a couch with a pull out day bed, as well as a pull out couch/ day bed in the living area. Satellite is available for your use. **Our cabins are custom built around the trees, the spiral staircases to the loft are a bit narrow, but it is apart of the charm of our treehouse cabins.
activities and attractions in New Braunfels Texas
My husband was born and raised in the Texas Hill Country. I’m originally from Montana but went to school at the University of Texas and we decided to make the Hill Country home. When we married in 2002 my husband was an established custom home builder in the area so we decided ecause we both love the area so much. We bought this property in 2009. I t had been on the market for almost two years at an extremely reasonable price but no one dared to buy it because it was in the flood plain. One day my husband drove by the property and fell in love with the big trees and river access. After thinking for some time about what he could do with the property the idea came to him to build tree houses above the flood plain. We shortly made an offer and began researching treehouse building online and were amazed at all the information we found (there is actually a tree house builders organization as well as people who make and sell specific tree house hardware. After much planning and engineering we began building our treehouses in the winter of 2010 and finished at the end of July.
