We welcome you to “Riverview Retreat” located on the Toccoa River in Mineral Bluff, Georgia. Mineral Bluff is approximately five miles north of Blue Ridge, GA in the beautiful Smoky Mountains, and approximately ten miles south of the Georgia/Tennessee border.
Riverview Retreat is 5,600 square feet of luxury living with three levels of enjoyment. Only ten minutes from Blue Ridge, you will enjoy shopping, restaurants, antique stores and the small town atmosphere that is so delightful in our mountain getaway. If you like to fish (license required) or kayak, the Toccoa River is a 75-yard walk from the house. The Toccoa River is rated the #1 trout river in all of Georgia. Directly on the river itself you will enjoy an 8,500 square foot private pool area with a 16 x 40 in-ground pool (operational from May 1st - October 1st), covered pavilion area with full kitchen facilities, gas grill, full rest room with shower, and large outdoor fireplace.
The house was built in 2002 and has three levels for your enjoyment. The left has three bedrooms (2 queens and 1 with twin beds) and two baths, one with jetted tub. The main floor has a mud room with washer and dryer adjacent to the attached two car garage, large kitchen with six burner Viking gas range with two ovens and griddle, breakfast bar and custom table that can seat eight people. There is also a separate dining room that can accommodate eight people. The great room, with floor to ceiling stacked stone fireplace and entertainment center, are also on this level as well as the master bedroom with a queen bed, TV, fireplace, and bath with steam steam shower, and large jetted tub. The lower level has a very large bedroom with a full and queen-sized bed, and a large bathroom with shower. There is also a great room on this level with TV, sleeper couch, game room with nine-foot pool table and foos ball, and indoor putting game. For relaxation, enjoy the night sky in the private hot tub.
Every level has great views of the river and the screened porch is a great place to grab a nap, use your laptop (we have wi-fi) or just enjoy the afternoon with your favorite beverage and watch the river glide by. You can even have a picnic on the porch at the teak table and chairs for six people. So come and stay at “Riverview Retreat’ for a couple of days or even a week or more, and we’re sure that you will thoroughly enjoy the experience. Unlike most rentals, you can bring your extended family (up to 14 people), at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. Hope to see you soon!
