Wooded waterfront home located on the private side in Lake Anna

Whether it is a quiet escape you're planning, or an active, fun-filled vacation, our comfortable ranch-style home will more than answer your needs. Nestled in a cove with a wide view of the private (warm) side of Lake Anna, Virginia’s second largest lake, our waterfront home is situated on two-acres surrounded by mature trees that affords privacy and a refreshing escape from the summer heat. There’s plenty of open space for the sun worshippers as well. The waterfront is shallow enough at the shore line for toddlers and beginner  swimmers to splash comfortably while more advanced swimmers can enjoy jumping and diving off the deep water floating dock. There is also a boat dock available on the premises. When you aren’t in the water, enjoy a game of volleyball or horseshoes, or just sit in the big swing and watch the sunset.

With all the amenities located on one floor, the house is convenient
for people with limited handicaps. The fully-equipped kitchen includes a breakfast bar, upgraded appliances, and a washer and dryer. A separate dining room is convenient when everyone eats together, or gather for an evening of card playing. There’s a family room for watching whatever sport is in season, or bring along some DVDs or videos and enjoy a movie. The living room, on the other hand, affords a quiet respite for talking or catching up on some reading. The large unfinished basement is a cool (literally) place to escape the heat, play ping pong or pocket billiards, or just hang out.

No smoking indoors and no pets allowed.

Air-conditioned; 3 bedrooms include 1 queen, 2 twins, and 1 king-size bed; 2 full baths; full-service kitchen, including microwave, coffeemaker and breakfast bar; separate dining room and living room; family room with sleep sofa, Direct TV, VCR and DVD players; washer an dryer; pingpong and pocket billiards; large deck with two patio tables and gas grill; volleyball court and horseshoe pit; big swing (great for watching sunsets); picnic table; shallow water near shore for toddlers and beginner swimmers; deep water floating dock for advanced swimmers; gated community boat launch; private boat dock on premises.

On the lake, you can engage in just about anything water related - boating, sailing, skiing, canoeing, kayaking, fishing. Catch one of the bi-weekly fishing tournaments. The state park offers historical and nature programs, as well as trails for hiking and a beach for swimming. Golf, horsebackriding, horseshows, living history re-enactments, winery tours and local festivals are available in the
area throughout the year.

Whatever you love to do is within an hour of Lake Anna- museums, historical towns and battlefields, outlet shopping and antiques, parks and trails for hiking, dining out, sports, shows, amusement parks. Washington, D.C., Richmond, Fredericksburg, and Charlottesville, Virginia, the Blue Ridge Parkway and Paramount  Kings Dominion are just a few of the great places you can visit while staying at Lake Anna.
