Cozy private getaway with 165 feet of waterfront in Lake Anna

Stay at our three-bedroom, two-bath rambler and enjoy 168 ft of private water front, your own boat dock and a separate swimmer's dock, and lots less traffic than you'll find on the public side of the lake. With one king bed, one queen bed, two twins and a queen sleeper sofa, our home can sleep 8 people comfortably. All the amenities are conveniently located on one floor. The fully-equipped kitchen includes a breakfast bar, upgraded appliances, and a washer and dryer. A separate dining room is convenient for everyone eat together, or gather for an evening of card playing. Satellite TV is available in the large family room for watching whatever sport is in season, or bring along some DVDs or videos and enjoy a movie. The living room affords a quiet respite for talking or catching up on some reading. The large unfinished basement is a cool (literally) place to escape the heat, play ping pong or pocket billiards, or just hang out.

The water level at our shoreline is very shallow; great for toddlers and non-swimmers. And there's plenty of deep water for the experienced swimmers, boaters and fishermen in the group. Basketball, horseshoes, and volleyball/badminton are other outdoor activities available on the premises. Bikes are available as well.

No smoking indoors and no pets allowed.

House is air-conditioned with 3 bedrooms (1 queen, 2 twins, and 1 king-size bed); 2 full baths; full-service kitchen, including microwave, coffeemaker and breakfast bar; dining room; separated family room and living room, each with a queen hide-a-bed sofa; DirecTV, VCR and DVD players; washer an dryer; pingpong and pocket billiards; large deck with two patio tables and gas grill; volleyball court and horseshoe pit; big swing (great for watching sunsets); picnic table; shallow water at the shoreline for toddlers and beginner swimmers.

On the lake, you can engage in just about anything water related - boating, sailing, skiing, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, even scuba diving. Catch one of the bi-weekly fishing tournaments. The state park offers historical and nature programs, as well as trails for hiking and a beach for swimming. Golf, horsebackriding, horseshows, living history re-enactments, winery tours and local festivals are available in the
area throughout the year.

Whatever you love to do is within an hour of Lake Anna- museums, historical towns and battlefields,  amusement parksoutlet shopping and antiques, parks and trails for hiking, dining out, sports, live theatre. Richmond, Fredericksburg, and Charlottesville, Virginia, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Paramount  Kings Dominion, and Washington, D.C are just a few of the great places you can visit while staying at Lake Anna.,
