Cranberry Lake is a peaceful, relaxing 215 acre property with a 140 acre lake located off of the beaten path in Mill Creek, Indiana. The Rustic Cabin is a beautiful log cabin a stone throw from the water, ready and waiting for you to rent.
No running water inside the Cabin lends itself to the rustic feel. There is power. A water pump and port-a-john are within 150 feet of the Cabin. A twin bed and two sets of bunks in the two room Cabin are perfect for a weekend getaway.
A firepit outside is a perfect place to spend a beautiful evening.
Located 90 minutes from downtown Chicago, 30 minutes from South Bend and 2 1/2 hours from Indianapolis.
Check-in time ends at 9pm. There will be a $25 fee assessed for each half hour renter is later than 9pm. Please call if you are running late.
You must be 21 years old to rent.

cabin rental amenities
A charcoal grill near the Cabin as well as a firepit at the waters edge are ready for your cooking pleasure and relaxing into the night.
A small refrigerator inside the Cabin for you to store all your perishables. A microwave and coffee pot are also available.
Cabin rental includes shoreline fishing inside designated areas. $50.00 daily boat fishing rate per person. The rental of the cabin does not include any boat rental. Bass, panfish and catfish are plentiful in Cranberry Lake.

Get out and enjoy the peace and quiet and tranquility of Cranberry Lake...a sunrise or sunset on the lake is exactly what you need to give you a renewed sense of calm.
The La Porte area offers many activities year round. Restaurants are close by.
New Buffalo and South Bend are both less than a 45 minute drive from the lake.
Cranberry Lake does not allow any recreational boating. We are an idle only lake.

vacation rental rates
The Rustic Cabin rents for $100/night during the Summer Season which runs from April 1st through Labor Day weekend. If you stay two nights or more, the cost is $75/night.
Off Season rates are $75/night.
We require a $100 cleaning/breakage deposit that will be returned within 10 days if the property is left clean.
