The original century old house has been renovated from top to bottom to create an inviting and serene space. The furniture is all brand new and modern with many custom made pieces. Cable T.V. and wireless internet are included.

Casa Maggie is situated only 2 blocks from Parque Santa Anna and only 4 blocks from the beginning of the famous Paseo Montejo. The central zocolo is an easy 10 minute walk. If you have decided to rent a car, the house has a garage which is quite rare in Merida.

Under the shade of the large avocado tree in the back you will find a deep pool with a state of the art filtration system that will keep you cool on the hottest days, and a place to relax on the covered patio with a drink.

Merida is a safe and active city that lives up to its title as the "Cultural Capital of the America's". So many galleries, great restaurants, theatres, and grand colonial buildings dot the city that it would be easy to ignore the surrounding attractions.

The Mayan wonders of Chichen Itza and Uxmal are an easy day trip away, as are countless cenotes and ancient haciendas. 

If you need a break and would like to head to the beach, a quick bus or cab ride will have you laying on the sand in less than half an hour.
