Beach House at the corner of Peace and Quiet in Nosara

Casa de Memphis II is located at the little known north entrance to Playa Pelada where the Nosara River meets the Pacific Ocean. This private beach house is part of a collection of 8 private houses surrounding two sides of a small boutique gated development. There is only one road in or out and few people are aware that this section exist. This location is very private yet still very convenient to restaurants, grocery stores and everything else the community of Nosara has to offer.

The location is what makes this small community so special. With the ocean on one side, the Ostional wildlife area on the other and the Nosara River nearby the area is a Mecca for wildlife. Because of the peaceful coexistence between the home owners and the natural surroundings, the wildlife literally comes to the door of the house. If you are looking for private seclusion surrounded by peace and quiet this is it. That is until a flock of parrots land in the tree above and the neighborhood monkey troop join in, then it gets a little noisy, but they were there first.

The house is a one minute walk to the beach and is located around the corner from the original Casa de Memphis I. Constructed in the style of the surrounding community; this one story three bedroom house is set up for the traveling family and will easily sleep up to nine people.  The house is fully air conditioned, and has all of the amenities of home including, private pool, beach towels, satellite TV, wireless internet, fully equipped kitchen, pool chairs, telephone and more.

Because the house sits at the end of a road there is no through traffic, noise or the associated dust commonly found else where.

The house and the cabina out back are fully air-conditioned and separated by a private pool. The house has all of the amenities the traveling vacationer would need. Beach chairs, beach towels, and full size lounge chairs by the pool are provided at no additional charge.

The Cabina is only accessible by a private bridge over a stream and has its own private bathroom, hammock, AC system and garden.

Activities include the beach and all it has to offer with the ever changing tide. At low tide the large table rock holds loads of marine life left behind by the tide. It is literally a marine aquarium. For those adrenalin junkies there is a zip line that will send you screaming through the jungle all the while suspended by a simple harness. For the more down to earth there is horseback riding on the beach, four wheeler rentals, and the ever present world class surfing that has made the area famous.  There are several surf schools that cater to the beginners as  much of the surf is tamed by the offshore reef making it perfect for the first timers.

Christmas/New Years $1500 a week

Additional nights, $175

Weekly rentals: A $500 security deposit is required within 7 days of making a reservation. The full rental fee is due 60 days prior to the first night. The $500 deposit is returned after your departure.

Monthly rentals: A $1000 security deposit is required within 7 days of making a reservation. The full rental fee is due 120 days prior to the first night. The $1000 deposit is returned after your departure.
