Why rent one when you can have two houses? This unique four bedroom
property is split between two separate houses, offering you space
and privacy. Are you having guests for a few days? They can have
their own house. Two couples or groups of friends? You don't need to
share your space. Yet, the houses are connected by the fenced in
deck and pool area.

Dos Casas is in the heart of the most beautiful section of Old Town.
Our Fleming Street neighborhood is filled with Victorian mansions,
the lovely Key West Library, a beautiful park and even the "This Old
House" project from a few years ago. We're in a great location, just
3 blocks to Duval Street, the center of shopping, restaurants and
bars; 3 blocks to the harbor for sunset activities, great waterfront
restaurants and the fishing, snorkeling and dive boats and a short
bike ride to the local's favorite beach at Fort Zachary Taylor. For
convenience, we're a quick walk to two great grocery stores.

Dos Casas has been totally renovated and recently refurbished.
Both “shotgun" houses are tastefully done with tropical colors and
an assortment of local art. The spacious, light filled rooms have 10
foot ceilings with fans, central air conditioning and many custom
features including hand painted details by renowned local artist,
Jeff Beal. And, with plenty of storage, there’s no need to live out
of a suitcase!

Each house has its own front porch with comfy seating and
traditional Cuban tile and faux tile floors -- a perfect place to
relax and watch the world go by. Once through the front gate, you
enter a totally private oasis. A large deck and private heated pool
await you among potted tropical plants. In a secluded alcove is a
great outdoor shower. All this privacy, and yet so close to the
bars, restaurants and galleries that make Key West famous.

We will consider pets on a case-by-case basis.

Great restaurants, bars, music, galleries, theatre. History, museums
and an aquarium. Old Town has wonderful architecture. The beautiful
waters around Key West offer diving, snorkeling, fishing, jet
skiing, kayaking, sailing and parasailing. And, there's always a
good book and some time to do nothing. The perfect place to read
great local writers, many of whom still live in Key West.
