Relax & enjoy nature in its finest form while boating, fishing, tubing, skiing, kayaking, or canoeing on the St. Johns, adjacent lakes, or various natural springs like Salt Springs, Juniper Springs, Silver Springs, etc...  Take a hike or mountain bike through the Ocala National Forest on one of the many marked trails.  Listen to the waves roll in & lounge on the nearby beaches.  Spend the day in Daytona visiting the Speedway, golfing, shopping, excellent restaurants, or drive to Orlando for a day of Disney/Universal/Epcot.  Visit nearby Silver Springs theme park where you can explore the springs in a very special way by riding in a glass bottom boat, check out their wonderful wildlife exhibits, or stroll through the botanical gardens.  Tour historical Mount Dora known for its great antiquing & gourmet restaurants.  Road bike on the open roads through the scenic forest (occasionally spotting a black bear).  Go Horseback riding or ATV riding through the forest while spotting deer, turtles, spectacular birds, etc...  Hit the Volusia Speedway during the evening for some exciting racing.
