Vacation Rental Description

This one bedroom unit has beautiful carpeted floors throughout as 
well as a newly re-decorated living room. The full kitchen includes 
a 
dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, dishes and 
flatware. The spacious bedroom features a king sized bed and 
separate access to a large private lanai.  The living room has a 
queen size sofa bed.  Plantation fans accent each room. Relax in the 
evening and 
enjoy cable TV with VCR and DVD in the living room and in the 
bedroom 
as well. For your added convenience there is a washer and dryer in 
the unit. This unit is less than 100 yards from a lovely large pool 
and Jacuzzi and Webber gas grills. The unit comes completely 
furnished and the kitchen includes all dishes and flatware.

Vacation Rental Amenities

The unit is located in the center of the beautiful gated community 
of 
Princeville, Kauai and is next to the Makai Golf Course and tennis 
facility. The Princeville Resort was voted the best resort on Kauai 
and the 8th best in the world by Conde Nast Traveler magazine and is 
dramatically situated on a bluffs located between the blue Pacific 
Ocean and craggy, green, mystical mountains.  It is indescribably 
majestic. It offers home sites, condos, hotels, shopping centers, 
restaurants, and 45 holes of golf. The world famous beaches of 
Hanalei Bay and Lumahai, and the spectacular scenery (the movie 
Jurassic Park was filmed here), are just a short, scenic drive away. 
Travel and Leisure magazine recently chose Kalalau Valley, located 
on 
the North Shore's famous Kalalau Trail, as one of the most beautiful 
places in America. 

Princeville is a golfers paradise with the number one course in 
Hawaii (The Prince Course) and the number five course (The Makai

discounts on both the world class 18 hole "Prince Course", ranked 
Number 1 in Hawaii and Number 43 of "America's 100 Greatest Golf 
Courses" and the 27 hole "Makai Course", Ranked Number 7 in Hawaii

Activities and Attractions

The very best beaches in all Hawaii are located only 5 minutes from 
the bluffs of Princeville. They offer excellent snorkeling, scuba 
diving, wind surfing and kayaking. You can kayak up the nearby 
rivers 
that connect the waterfalls to the ocean. You can also hike the 
Kalalau Trail on the Napali Coast which is located on the North 
Shore 
of Kauai and see the breathtaking views of the mountains, waterfalls 
and the ocean. The North Shore of Kauai has some of the most 
beautiful scenery anywhere in the world.

Basically Kauai is a nature lover’s paradise. The most beautiful 
areas are still pristine with no houses or hotels and the better 
beaches are generally not directly accessible from condos, like 
Lumahai beach where scenes of South Pacific were filmed, or Secret 
Beach and many others. You cannot live right next to them close to 
the beach but must search them out and go to them and. Some are a 
1/2 
mile walk from the roadway and others are a few hundred yards down a 
slope or through the trees, etc.

As referred to earlier, our very favorite private beach is 5 minutes 
from Princeville and is located in Hanalei Bay which has 3 miles of 
white sand coral free beach, and seldom has over 50 people on the 
entire beach. There are a few mansions around but it is still quite 
private. 

The North Shore of Kauai, near Princeville, has more of the best 
beaches in all Hawaii than on any other Island. It is 8 miles to the 
end of the road from Princeville and it is a nature's wonderland and 
a beach lover's paradise. You will find lovely Ke'e Beach at the 
very 
end of the road in a park setting where the Kalalau Trail commences. 
It is great for snorkeling and for little ones as the beach area 
inside the reefs and coral is wave free and a giant tide pool that 
is 
crystal clear.

Kauai's beaches are more hidden and exclusive and represent an 
adventure to search out, find, and visit. It can be an all day 
experience where you pack a lunch and beverages and go with a sun 
umbrella and lots of sunscreen to be with and enjoy nature in a 
special, private and secluded way.

Of course, the Princeville Hotel is a must to see and visit along 
with its more modest beach. It is truly a World Class Hotel in every 
respect and a great place to dine at evening time on the lanai at 
Hanalei Cafe and watch the sunset turn into night over beautiful 
Hanalei Bay and the Hanalei mountains.
