Lakefront Home For Rent in Hayward

Great lakefront home on N Shore of Slim Lake, located between Spooner and Hayward, WI.  Very private 250 acre lake with great fishing, water sports, etc.  Our family is grown and finds less and less time to spend time at this beautiful lakefront home.  We've decided to rent our home for the weeks that we won't be there and feel that everyone would enjoy our home as much as we do.  Very clear sandy beach area with a very gradual drop off ideal for children.  

Renters are welcome to use our pontoon boat if it is running. We had the motor worked on twice last summer so it should be fine, but is not guaranteed. There is also a small row boat with a 5 hp motor that guests are welcome to use.  Rooms on the first floor include full bathroom, 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with twin beds, large kitchen, extra room used as storage and pantry, large living room with fireplace and pull out couches, screened in front porch and front deck.  Upstairs there is another full bath, one bedroom with two double beds in it, another bedroom with twin beds, another large bedroom with a queen bed, another bedroom with a double bed, plus a small twin bed in an upper sitting area.There is also a detached bunk house with two sets of bunk beds with a pull out couch.  Kitchen table seats 12 as does the table on the front porch.  TV/DVD player in living room, wireless internet but no cable or satellite TV.  Plenty of parking for cars and boats in the driveway area. 

Our house is located on three wooded acres with quite a bit of lake frontage. The descent from the house to the lake is gradual and the steps were rebuilt last summer. The beach is sandy and there is an excellent shallow swimming area for children. Many, many small and even a 16" Bass have been caught at the end of the pier.  Our home is approximately 3 miles from the town of Stone Lake, WI.  We're also situated a few miles off HW 70 between Hayward and Spooner.  Per my "fishing" children, it's a great fishing lake for walleye and bass. Our son and grandsons caught a 20" and an 18" walleye last July.  Our house has lots of charm and character, but it is not fancy, and your family can have a fun, relaxing week there. 

Home will be available from Saturday to Saturday basis and we could be flexible if there isn't anyone there the day before or after.  In addition to the weekly rate, there is a cleaning fee of $150 and a refundable damage deposit of $250.
