What can I say about the Aloha House? Everything Wonderful! The home was nicely decorated, everything we needed was available - pots, pans, dishes, condiments, washer, etc.
This is SO MUCH better than a hotel, especially if you are traveling with a group. I have 6 people in my party. We were able to spend so much quality time together without having to knock on hotel doors or go room to room. The bedrooms are spacious, each one having it's own bathroom. The office with computer and internet made things so super convenient. Anything we needed, I just called the house manager, who was very sweet and assisted us in anything we needed.
The pool was just the right size, and we even went over the bigger pool in the community neighborhood. Oh the neighborhood was quite lovely.
Staying here you will need a taxi, car rental, or private driver ( which we chose ) and was the best decision and price for our stay. Around the house was lush and green. The setting definitely says TROPICAL VACATION. :-) We loved our stay here and would DEFINITELY stay again.

Bangkok Holiday House

We Stayed at the house for 4 nights with a group of 4 people, and found the house to be ideal for our situation. The house is beautifully presented and comes with everything you would need and expect from a well apointed Holiday home.
The owner of the house met us there to go through everything and was extrememly helpful and answered any questions we had.
The location of the house was not a problem for us as it only takes a short taxi ride to get to the main Bangkok hot spots. The only thing that you need to remember when staying here is to take a map of where the house is, as not all taxi drivers know where Bangkok Boulevard is located and they can take you on a drive in the wrong direction if they dont know where they are going. So make sure you take a map wherever you are going.
The rooms are great and the Outdoor pool is a real plus with the hot and humid days and nights.
I would recommend anyone traveling as part of a group or a family to give this one a go, rated highly among our group.

This was going to be our first visit to Bangkok and we were looking for a house with a private pool. After a lengthy search on the internet I came across the ad for this property. I e-mailed the owner and the house manager in the US who were very helpful and answered all my questions promptly. Having read so many articles about holiday scams in the past I was slightly anxious about booking the property and handing my money (via paypal) to someone I didn't know particularly as there were no reviews on any of the websites. Finally I decided to make the booking. The booking procedure and issuing of contract were swift and professional. I printed the map from the site and boarded the plane to Bangkok.
To get to the villa we hired a taxi from Suvarnabhumi Airport (450 Bhat/less than $20 US). The trip took about 45 minutes which was the last thing we needed after a long flight but it was definitely worth the wait. The villa is absolutely stunning; spacious, clean, well maintained and very elegantly decorated. Everything we needed was provided (soap, towels, washing machine, etc) and all the amenities were brand new. The dish washer and free broadband internet were very handy. The little one enjoyed swimming in the pool in the morning (for some reason it didn't rain in the morning during our stay) and I was very pleased that cable TV was available which allowed me to watch the Wimbledon final and news.
Now the cons:
1) The villa is located deep inside a 'posh' housing estate. To get to the main road we had to call the house manager who'd then contact security to pick us up from the villa in a golf cart-like vehicle and drop us off at the entrance.
2) The villa is not in a touristy area and there are are not many restaurants/attractions in the vicinity. However, there is a shopping centre about 10 minutes away with good restaurants and facilities. This was very convenient in way as it was within walking distance and the Tops supermarket is excellent and sells all sorts of western and imported US/UK foods. However, the trip involved going up and down a walking bridge which some might find difficult particularly if suffering from knee problems or if travelling with small children.
3) The pool is a reasonable size but is not heated.

Overall, a very pleasant experience. The house is magnificent, the owner is very helpful/ professional and the weekly price is very reasonable particularly if you are travelling in a large group. Very highly recommended!
