Beach Charm in Rockaway Beach

Beach Charm - - says it all about this place.  The lower level has a fully equipped kitchen and two separate dining areas. You will also find a laundry room, 2 full baths, and a master bedroom with a full bed and antique armoire. The living room features comfortable furnishings including a queen futon, Satellite TV with DVD, and many movies and games for your enjoyment.  Outside enjoy dining al fresco on the picnic table or build a fire in the firepit and take turns telling your best day at the beach stories.  And of course, the beach access trail is across the street, where you can alk down the trail and step into the sand to enjoy the views of the famous Twin Rocks.

The upstairs has a unique knotty pine design and adds to the charm of this home. There are three sleeping areas, a full bath and a great little deck on this level. One alcove has a built in single bed. The second alcove has another single bed with TV/VCR and access to the bathroom and deck. The third bedroom has two built in full size beds and a full size futon mattress.

Rockaway has many activities to keep you occupied once you leave the house.  Depending on the weekend there maybe the Kite Festival, Wine/Cheese/Jazz Festival, or the popular community Street Dance.  There is 7 miles of sandy beach to explore, a Nature Conservancy on on the south end of town, or the landmark Flamingo Jims gift store where you can spend hours browsing for that perfect item that will remind you of your vacation at the beach.

Want to explore further afield? To the north is Oswald State Park with miles of walking trails, or the towns of Cannon Beach or Seaside as a daytrip. Around the Nehalem Bay area are the communities of Manzanita, Nehalem & Wheeler where the many shops and places to eat are awaiting you. Spend a day down "south" in Tillamook where you can go through the famous Cheese Factory, visit the Air Musuem, or do the Three Capes Scenic Drive. On your way home stop in Bay City, Garibaldi or Brighton Marina for some of the freshest seafood the coast has to offer.

Security/Cleaning deposits:  A $200 deposit is required. Deposits will be returned within 14 business days after departure, minus any accrued charges.  Cleaning charges depend on you, are billed by the hour, ($30 per hour) and come out of your security/cleaning deposit. There is a standard check out sheet to follow, however, to help out with costs, you may choose to do some of the cleaning yourself.  The minimum charge is $15, no exceptions.  $40 per hour for excessive cleaning/laundry
