Newly constructed (2008), not refurbished, this Palm Springs home combines the stylishness of a mid-century modern Kreisel design with the environmentally conscious 21st century. This *LEED certified house is the first of its kind in Palm Springs and features solar electric, passive solar, energy-saving design and all recycled materials.

This designer home features new mid-century modern furnishings, original art and beautiful lighting to create a hip yet relaxing environment. Facing west, the back yard & pool have great views of the mountains - a fantastic spot to soak up the desert sun. Float lazily in the saltwater pool or sit outside in a comfortable lounge chair. For those cool nights there is a gas outdoor fire pit. Inside, a vaulted ceiling & an open floor plan seamlessly connect the dayrooms to the back yard and pool. The large master suite features a 32-inch LCD television with Blu-ray player, stunning bathroom with walk-in shower and a private patio with seating area.

The detached casita (guest house) opens to the back yard and pool on two sides; with the sliders open your suite is practically outside. A pair of chairs offers a spot to curl up with a good book in front of the fireplace or watch a movie on the 40-inch LED TV and blu-ray player. A third bedroom has a queen size bed while the fourth bedroom has two twin beds. Each has a 32-inch LCD TV with DVD player. Wireless Internet serves the entire property and the 7.1 surround sound stereo has an iPod docking station. There is a 40-inch LED TV in the living room as well as a gas fireplace.

You'll find a well-appointed kitchen with stainless appliances, brand new washer & dryer, large outdoor gas grill, and a two-car garage. This quiet, well manicured neighborhood is conveniently located about a 10 minute walk from Smoke tree Center and the Chabad.

This Deep well home is located in a quiet upscale neighborhood where good neighbor low noise policies are strictly enforced. This home is great for quiet rest and relaxation, however loud noises or over-occupancy is strictly prohibited and not tolerated.


*LEED-Certification is a certification granted for environmentally sustainable construction and include green practices which facilitate water conservation, energy efficiency, environmental quality, and material selection.   Some of these practices include natural lighting, insulation to maximize heating and cooling, solar panels, low VOC paints, recycling practices, and water-efficient landscaping.

This home looks very good (updated, mid century modern decor) and the separate Casita is a nice plus. But, there are several draw backs that make the experience just OK.

Our family loves spending time in Palm Springs. For the past 10 years, we spend a week in late march, and have rented homes. We like modern and rent 4+ bedroom homes.

The couple of drawbacks with this home include: 1) The roof 'pops'. Another reviewer referenced the roof sounds. It is prominent and frequent at night. If you are a very sound sleeper the only issue is annoyance. But, if not, it is a significant issue 2) during the renovation it appears larger windows were installed in the upper area of master bedroom and there are no shades. The light pours in (which is nice) but it heats up quite a bit and one can not sleep in or nap as the light is overpowering 3) there is no picture looking out from the back yard pool towards the mountains -- there is no view of the mountains. The house is set back on the lot, so there is no view. And, the feeling in the back yard/pool is very constrained, vs expansive.

The vacation rental was spotless.
The property manager was very helpful.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.

This property was excellent on so many levels. It was perfectly located, clean, spacious and a very quiet neighborhood.
The pool and yard were wonderful and our family really enjoyed our stay.
The only issue of significance was the roof noise which we gather is structurally flawed. We needed ear plugs to sleep at night and the sound did keep wake us up during the night. I think renters should be made aware of this problem before committing to the agreement.
The house needs more plastic glasses and plates but otherwise was well equipped.
We had a couple of minor issues and the property management company was very responsive.
Overall, we were very happy with our stay and had perfect weather for 10 days.

Property management company is great. Property was just as described, wonderfully clean and lovely pool. However, the house has a major design flaw - the roof. With the heat of the day, it expands and then contracts at night creating a very loud cracking every 30 mins. It awoke us, and our 6-month old twins, constantly. For this reason, I would not recommend renting this house.
