Located 20 minutes north of Tillamook and five minutes south of Rockaway Beach, this lovely three bedroom home on a corner lot is poised at the coastal edge of Tillamook National Forest and looks across the mouth of Tillamook Bay at historic Bay Ocean Spit. Once the site of an ambitious development called "Bayocean," the spit is now a county park where birding, horseback riding, and hiking are popular. Your stay at Jetty Views not only puts you right across from this rugged and beautiful peninsula, you'll be just minutes from fishing, crabbing, and all the wonderful activities available on Oregon's storied coastline!

Jetty Views has room for 10. (Your small dog can come along too for $10 a night). Relax in the comfy chairs and watch a DVD or watch a cable show after dinner. With great views of the Bay, its warm and comfortable decor is punctuated with nautical images - anchors, lighthouses, and ships - that remind you of the ocean just outside. A ceiling fan cools you on those hot days. Boot up the laptop and make those dinner reservations, or check on local events with the free WIFI.

Meals are easy in Jetty View's modern kitchen, and one dessert you won't have to prepare is the wonderful view from the dining area! There are plenty of pots, pans and utensils, and the kitchen is fully stocked. If you're missing something for your recipe, there are markets within 10 minutes away in Rockaway and Garibaldi. Also available is a gas grill to barbeque steaks, hamburgers, or the catch of the day. 

This home has three bedrooms. One comes with two queen beds and a marvelous view of the peninsula through windows on two sides. Those staying in the master bedroom will enjoy a king bed, access to the deck, and a TV for late night viewing. The third bedroom has another queen bed and also has a TV. There are two full bathrooms and a washer and dryer.

Crabbers and fisherman: This place is perfect for you! Not only will you be located at the mouth of Tillamook Bay, you'll be close to six charter businesses in nearby Garibaldi alone, all anxious to spirit you out onto the Pacific for a day's fishing. You can also go solo and rent a boat at Garibaldi Marina. Plenty of things for non-anglers to do as well! Head over to the trail on the jetty across Highway 101. Hike the entire trail (nine miles), or just take a stroll and enjoy the spectacular view! (Be safe. Stay on the trail). Or, check out Cape Meares Lighthouse in Netarts, just seven miles west of Tillamook.
