Vacation Rental Description

This modern rental home provides privacy and comfort.  It includes two bedrooms, a large great room  
with gas fireplace, and a complete kitchen with dishes and dishwasher.  The master bedroom has a  
walkout balcony; and, there's a 12'X20' deck, with grill, off the kitchen.  Stepping down there's a  
decorative patio, with chimnea, which also provides a secluded, scenic view to enjoy the company of  
family and friends.

Vacation Rental Amenities

We ask that our guests provide their own bath towels, kitchen towels, personal soaps and shampoos. 
Sheets are provided, along with soap at each sink, as well as dish and dishwasher detergents. 
Dishes, silverware, pots and pans, toaster, electric mixer, coffee maker, utensils, (also for grill)  
are provided. 
There is charcoal and lighter fluid for the grill.

Activities and Attractions

Bluff View Guest House is nested in between scenic bluffs in Whalan, four miles east of Lanesboro on  
Highway 16.  The Root River State Bike Trail, wonderful for biking, hiking, and cross-country skiing  
is one block from the house. The Root River, great for tubing, kayaking, canoeing, and fishing runs  
adjacent to the bike trail.  Private Jeep Tours and Horse-drawn Wagon/Sleigh Rides are available,  
starting at the house, travelling through beautiful, scenic hills.  There is an Aroma Pie Shoppe,  
a mini-golf (Gator Greens), and playground equipment next to the bike trail in Whalan.  Enjoy the  
popular live CommonWeal Theatre, fine dining, shopping and more within five minutes.

Vacation Rental Rates

Peak Season:  May-October --- $1100/week or 
                                195/day for 4 guests (2 night minimum) 15% discount for 3rd night  
                                Additional guests $22/person/day 
 
Off-Peak:  November-April --- $900/week or  
                               125/day for 2 guests (2 night minimum) 
                               Additional guests $22/person/day

Check-Out:  11:00 AM
