Coconut palms, tropical flora, and crystal turquoise waters. You may dock your boat at the 34 foot dock, swim in the clean island water or relax on the sandy beach. Plenty of room for parking and boat trailers.

With panoramic views, this home includes a master suite, complete with a Roman Shower with two shower heads, spacious wrap around deck and grounds, and a kitchen complete with all appliances and equipment.  Home is dual zoned for air conditioning and has on-demand hot water.

Finding an excuse to leave may be hard, but there are nearby local restaurants and the excitement of Key West is just 12 miles away!

A two person kayak, three bicycles and a propane grill are included with this rental.

My sister and I just rented this house for a week and had a wonderful time. The pictures on the internet match the house exactly. When I opened the door all I could say was wow. It is located in a quiet residential area with a spectacular water view. We enjoyed eating on the deck everyday and the the deck loungers were fabulous. It was so nice having bikes, beach chairs, an ice cooler, beach towels, and household supplies available. We just had to buy some groceries and a few household items to be restocked. It is located in a nice midway position between Key West and Bahai Honda State park where we spent 2 days on the beach. We only went into downtown Key West once to shop and it was such a relief to get back to this peaceful house. There are plenty of nice restaurants nearby like Mangrove Mama's(great Blackened fish sandwich), Hog Fish on Stock Island, and the Square Grouper(pricier). The grocery stores are at the edge of Key West or we found a Winn Dixie at Big Pine near the Blue Hole where we saw a Key Deer alligator and turtles. The house is immaculate,well maintained, and so very comfortable. It felt like home. We had a truly relaxing vacation and were sad to leave.

Recommended for: age 55+, girls getaway, sight seeing, romantic getaway

Relaxation in the Florida Keys

The goal was relaxation in the Florida Keys for a Fall vacation. Ballyhoo Shores provided the perfect opportunity to achieve this experience. This is a lovely home with a beautiful water view through palms that sway and mesmerize in the breeze. Every thing was exactly as was expected. The home is beautiful and well maintained. Very clean and everything is provided (with a request to replenish used supplies). I would highly recommend this property to a friend.

Because the home is on the 2nd level this is not recommended for people with disabilities. The home comes furnished with 2 two person kayaks and 3 bicycles. There is plenty of space and comfort to be found here. The wraparound porch and comfortable furniture provides a dreamy location to enjoy the water view and sunsets from. There is a gas grill for cooking on the deck. The owner was very helpful. The drive to Key West is short for day trips - only 12 miles away from Sugarloaf Key.

We also wanted to snorkel during our time there. We participated in the afternoon Fury catamaran trip to the reef. The water was choppy and not very clear that day. We then found a note in the guest book that Looe Key is a good snorkel location. We now look forward to this for our next visit to the area. We did kayak in the water around the house and bicycled in the neighborhood. All in all our time there was very relaxing, fulfilling and the home is a dream come true. Our Fall vacation was a trip to remember...

Recommended for: age 55+, sight seeing, romantic getaway

This property is a WOW!

This is an awe inspiring property that has everything you can ask for. From the moment we pulled into the gated driveway, all of us kept saying, "WOW." The coded key locks made the usual chore of keeping track of keys effortless. The walk upstairs and entry into the living room that overlooked a spectacular view took our collective breath away.

We rent a house whenever we go on vacation. It's much cheaper than a hotel and the extra room gives everyone their own space. We own a vacation rental condo. I mention this because I was amazed that the house had everything we needed. It's usually a $100 trip to the grocery store for detergents, paper towels, toilet paper etc. Not here. It was all provided with a note to replace what we used. GREAT feature.

And it had everything we needed. Every time I found myself needing a particular cooking utensil, towel, cleaning supply or book to read, it was right there. And I haven't even mentioned the sunsets.

We had 7 straight nights of "Chamber of Commerce" sunsets that we could experience from the dock, the private beach or the balcony. And the location was close enough to Key West that it was easy to get there when we wanted, but we were far enough away when we wanted peace and quiet.

I could go on about the beauty of the water, the impeccable cleanliness of the house, the outstanding master bath, the overly comfortable Adirondack chairs and the remarkable wrap-a-round porch, but I'm running out of space.

This is a rental you'll love!

Recommended for: families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway
