Vacation Rental Description

Luxuriuos rental home apartment and ski lodge with the full comforts  
of home in a relaxed and spacious ski chalet set in the high Andes,  
just one hour drive from Santiago, Chile.  
 
Enjoy the best skiing in South America, in the most appealing  
accommodation.  
 
Casa Farellones is a four story private chalet with total built area  
of approximately 690 square meters (7,400 sq feet) set in the  
village of Farellones, commanding panoramic and unobstructed views  
to the West and South.  
 
Located on a ridge at the southern edge of the village of  
Farellones, with panoramic views on three sides, Casa Farellones is  
a five minute walk from the ski lifts at Farellones (you can ski  
back) and five minute drive from the ski base at La Parva or El  
Colorado (you can ski all the way back from here too). Valle Nevado  
(the third linked valley / resort in the area) is a 15 minute drive  
but can be accessed easily on skis from either El Colorado or La  
Parva ski areas.

Casa Farellones prides itself on our friendly and attentive staff (a  
Chilean couple who have lived in the village for many years) who  
ensure your stay with us is a comfortable and enjoyable one.  
 
Staff and Services  
Maid service is provided daily. The maid provides full housekeeping  
services and can assist in preparation of meals. The staff can also  
arrange grocery shopping (from Santiago) one or twice a week as  
required.  
 
Our Toyota Four Runner SUV can be hired for any of your  
transportation needs.

Activities and Attractions

Casa Farellones is a five minute walk from the ski lifts at  
Farellones (you can ski back) and five minute drive from the ski  
base at La Parva or El Colorado (you can ski all the way back from  
here too). Valle Nevado (the third linked valley / resort in the  
area) is a 15 minute drive but can be accessed easily on skis from  
either El Colorado or La Parva ski areas.  
 
Skiing and boarding are the main winter activities. There is ample  
lift serviced terrain in the 3 resorts, but if you feel the need to  
venture further, Helli ski services are available from La Parva and  
Valle Nevado. During the summer mountain walking, climbing and horse  
back riding are available. We'll be happy to provide further details  
and make the necessary arrangements.  
 
Unlike the ski base villages at La Parva and El Colorado, which  
vacate during the summer months, Farellones has many year round  
residents and the generally green and tree filled gardens make it a  
pleasure to visit in the summer months.

Vacation Rental Rates

Peak Ski Season (11 July to  19 Sept) -  4,250 usd per week 
Ski Season (June 1 to Jul 10 and Sept20 to Oct 10) -  3,250 usd per  
week  
Summer Season (December to March)  - 2,700 usd per week 
Low season (October, November, April and May)- 2,400 usd per week 
 
- Minimum let is typically one week  
- lets of over 4 weeks subject to 15% discount  
 
Booking conditions  
A 50% deposit of total rental is required to confirm a booking  
Balance of rent is due no less than 30 days prior to occupancy date.  
 
Cancellation  
More than 3 months before occupancy date - Full refund.  
Less than 3 months before occupancy date - 50% of booking deposit  
will be refunded in the event that the period can be re-let after a  
cancellation. 
No refund will be made if space booked cannot be re-let
