Gorgeous Cabin - our favorite house in Hunter

We had a terrific stay at this beautiful log cabin. Our group of 12 comes up to Hunter Mountain every year around Dec/Jan for a few days. This was our favorite property yet. The house is warm and welcoming. The foosball and air hockey tables in the loft are in fine condition. Same goes for the ping pong table downstairs. The bathrooms are beautiful and spacious. The beds are very comfortable - not a single complaint from any of the 12 guests, which is quite rare with rentals and a group this large.

The kitchen fixtures are all brand new and a it's a great space to cook in - they have most of the basic utensils/cooking supplies. It's an open environment, which is terrific for larger groups.

The grill downstairs under the deck works just fine. There are utensils for the grill as well up in the kitchen.

Hunter Mountain is a short drive away (~15 minutes with snow on the ground, 2 turns from the cabin). There is a local supermarket and wine/liquor store that is just down the road (5 minutes drive). The neighboring houses are a good distance away and there isn't much traffic on this road, so it's a very peaceful, quiet area.

And the view is absolutely spectacular in the Great Room. It is exactly as advertised. You will be hard pressed to find a better rental in the Hunter area. That's about all I can say about this wonderful space. It was a pleasure dealing with Dan from Day 1, who was incredibly responsive. We would gladly (and hopefully will) return to this house again next time.

Weekend Getaway with Friends

Million Dollar Views is the understatement for the description of this home. The pictures do the house no justice. We wanted to getaway with a group of friends and when I found this house I fell in love. I fell in love all over again upon arrival, as did everyone else. The house was so gorgeous! The cathedral ceilings with all of the windows and the the view was beyond beautiful! We had board games, air hockey and ping pong games which made it fun for everyone. The location of the house is within minutes from Windham and Hunter Mountains and the towns. It is only a few minutes from Kaaterskill Falls as well. Whether you are planning on going in the winter or in the summer, the house is perfect. We were all so sad that the trip came to and end and are all looking to book again for the summer and winter again. The landlord was more than helpful with every thing. He even answered a late night phone call to help with directions to the home which was greatly appreciated. He was a pleasure to talk to and we are looking forward to the next time!

A Beautiful Getaway

We had an absolutely wonderful experience renting this property. Our group went for the weekend to Ski and Snowboard. The home is even more beautiful and spacious than we had expected and very close to Hunter, Windham, and other attractions. The owner is an absolute pleasure to deal with and was exceptionally responsive and attentive. He answered all of our questions prior to our rental and was accessible throughout! The home was immaculate with all of the details! Wireless internet, movies, games, a gourmet kitchen fully loaded, plenty of clean towels and linens, etc. Not only would I recommend this property, it is very likely that we will be renting it again. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience.
