vacation rental description
Mountain Hall was built in 1902 by John Rosborough and a neighbor as a music hall. Rosborough was professor of music for many years. People would gather for conversation and performances.
Updated for comfort and usability, Mountain Hall still retains its unique charm. It features one-of-a-kind lighting and furnishings. The great room is an astounding 40 X 20, two stories tall, and includes an enormous fireplace, large leather sectional sofa with full size pull out bed with 2" memory foam topper, a 10 person handmade wooden dining table and a loft with hand hewn log railing and small viewing deck. The 40 ft front porch has views toward Long’s Peak, and lots of seating. Bedrooms are small but adequate. Bed 1 – king, Bed 2 – queen, bed 3 – twin, loft – 2 twins, living room – full sofa bed. One bath on the main floor. Second bath is in the basement with outside access. Charcoal grill. Three miles to Rocky Mountain National Park entrance.
New bedding and linens throughout cabin, view of Longs peak from Living room and porch.
Hot tub under the stars installed in July, shared with one other cabin.
Can be rented with Brown Cabin or Rose Den.
