Casa Caribena was just completely remodeled Oct. 2011 with granite in both kitchens, marble in all baths, mahogany in entire villa and retiled showers and floors throughout.
Casa Caribeña, on the beach on Tankah Bay, and only 5 minutes from world renowned Tulum, has everything that a vacationer wants and is your perfect place away from home.  We INCLUDE the cook AT NO ADDITIONAL COST so that all the cooks in your group get a vacation also.  Sitting in the roof top dipping pool either during the day with it's magnificent 360 degree views of the bay and jungle or night gazing at the stars is one of the places we most like to be.  Others prefer the beachfront thatched patio just steps away from the turquoise blue Caribbean waters.  Some prefer the pool with it's lush gardens and the parakeets to keep you company.  No matter where you are at Casa Caribeña, you will appreciate the numerous, very large, and comfortable living areas the villa has to offer.  Lily will prepare breakfast and dinner for you and her cooking talents are very well known as being delicious!   Just ask us for references, with ones like these, we are happy to share them.  
    You don’t have to leave Casa Caribeña if you don’t want.  You can receive a wonderful massage under the palapa on the beach, on the roof or anywhere else you would like, they come to you.  If you would like a manicure, pedicure or any other pampering service, Lily will set up the appointment and bring the people to you.  After all, you are on vacation!  You are catered to while at Casa Caribeña and you should be….  remember… you are on vacation!  
    The snorkeling directly in front of the villa in Tankah Bay is spectacular, as is the sea kayaking.  You are minutes away from the ruins of Tulum and the world famous beaches of Tulum that have been in the top 5 beaches of the world, according to the Travel Channel and Travel and Leisure magazine.  The town of Tulum is also minutes away with its wonderful restaurants, shops and nightlife.  Playa del Carmen is 30 minutes away down the newly finished 4 lane highway.  You have Coba, 30 minutes away and Chichen Itza 90 minutes away.  Xcaret and Xel-Ha are 30 and 5 minutes away respectively.  As you can see, you are in the middle of everything in the Riviera Maya.   
      Tankah Bay is a gated community that is a quiet and lovely bay 5 minutes north of Tulum and 30 minutes south of Playa del Carmen, the perfect location to everything.  The bay has two restaurants so you don't have to leave to eat out if you like.  The well known Cenote Manatee is located around 300 yards from Casa Caribeña, with its turquoise green, crystal clear fresh waters where Manatees lived.  One week is not long enough and that's OK, there is plenty to still do your second, third, forth or fifth time back.

     At times the villa rents as a 3 Bedroom rental.  This does not include the second floor or the roof top amenities.  Everything else is the same as far as it comes with the cook, pool, 2,600 square foot villa and all of the other amenities that Casa Caribena has to offer.  
     When you rent the villa as a 4 or 5 bedroom, you pick out the bedrooms you want to use after you arrive.  Lily will then lock off the others to not be used.
