Vacation Rental Description

This bright and cheerful duplex is located in the heart of Surf 
City.  It is only seven houses from the newly replenished Surf City 
beaches.   This is a family oriented rental that is great for one 
family or multiple families.   It is in walking distance to a full 
food store, ice cream and burgers, miniature golf, restaurants, 
shopping and a park at the bay only three blocks away.    

Both floors sleep eight and have 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen, 
living room and a deck off the living room/kitchen area.  Each floor 
has a queen size sofa bed for additional guests.  The floors are kept 
cool on those warm summer nights by a large wall air conditioner.  
There is a TV and VCR/DVD player in the living room and a TV and VCR 
in the master bedroom.   A large enclosed outside shower is also 
available to both floors as well as a washer/dryer.  Off street 
parking is available in the front of the house.

Activities and Attractions

Besides the large Surf City beaches, you can enjoy shopping at Bay 
Village in Beach Haven as well as rides, a waterslide and an arcade 
at Fantasy Island.   If you like miniature golf, there are many 
different courses from which to choose.  There are also playgrounds 
located in the different towns on the island for the kids.  If you 
feel up to the challenge, take in the views from the top of the 
Barneget Lighthouse (watch out for those 217 steps to get to the 
top!).  For those nights when you want to eat out, Long Beach Island 
offers many restaurants ranging from fast food/burgers/ice cream to 
fine dining. 

If you enjoy water sports, there is jet skiing, water-skiing, 
waterslides, surfing, windsurfing, parasailing, rafting and boating.  
Long Beach Island is well known for it’s surfing as it is seven miles 
out farther in the ocean, so the waves are great!   There is also 
hiking, biking, surrey riding, basketball, parks for the kids, 
wildlife viewing, fishing and crabbing.
 
Visiting other shore points is also a breeze by jumping onto the 
Garden State Parkway which has an entrance right on Rt. 72 in 
Manahawkin.  You can drive to Atlantic City for gambling or to see a 
show.  There is also historic Cape May where you can see the 
beautiful Victorian houses and go shopping.  Wildwood also provides a 
boardwalk with additional rides for the family.  

Vacation Rental Rates

Families only please – no groups.

Rentals are from Saturday to Saturday.  Check-in is after 2:00 p.m. 
and check-out is before 11:00 a.m.

A $250 security deposit is required.
