Modernist guesthouse in Brentwood in Brentwood

Avoid the Santa Monica fog and stay in our mid-century guesthouse in sunny Brentwood.  Our post and beam guesthouse sits on a gated 2 acres of land with hiking trails throughout.  The main house is an historic monument with the City of Los Angeles.  Our peaceful, lushly landscaped property is in an architecturally controlled community.  A small community park is next door where neighborhood families gather for Monday night pizza night. Hiking trails start from our front gate and will lead you to the top of the Santa Monica Mountains. 

The 1400 sq. ft. house is completely furnished with modernist furniture.  The upper floor has a queen size bed on one side of a partition, the living room on the other side with a free-standing fireplace and separate TV viewing area.  There is a sunny deck off the living/dining area for outdoor dining. In the living room is a fold-out twin size sofa bed.  The lower floor has the bathroom with a soaking tub and separate tiled shower and an additional bedroom with two twin beds.

The kitchen has a microwave, stove, expresso machine, and large refirgerator/freezer.

A swimming pool is on the propertyand is heated at the renter's expense , plentiful parking, and laundry facilities.

Within a short distance are hiking, mountain bike trails through the Santa Monica Mountains. 

The local park is within walking distance, as are several hiking trails.    Shopping and four-star restaurants are minutes away on San Vicente Blvd.  Santa Monica beaches and shopping are 15 minutes away. The Getty Museum is 10 minutes away and UCLA 20 minutes.

This is a kid friendly neighborhood with a neighborhood park.  The neighborhood is safe to walk day and night.
