Daniel Island Condo in Charleston

 Our home is 6 years old located in the downtown district of Daniel Island, it is a luxury condominium with 1850 square feet.  There is an elevator in the lobby and a great view with lots of palm trees.  Master bedroom has queen bed and private bath with separate tub and shower.  There is another full size room with a queen bed , the third bedrm is a small den that has a pull out sofa that is great for teenagers or children  . A large bathroom accomodates those two bedrooms. Beaches are about a 15 minute drive and historic downtown Charleston about 20 minutes. We have bikes in the garage if you would like to use those.  Daniel Island has some great riding trails. There are some very good restaurants also. The Family Circle Tennis Cup is located directly behind our condominium and you can play tennis there by appointment. Two of the countries finest golf courses are located on Daniel Island. They are top-ranked and designed by Tom Fazio and Rees Jones.

 Very nice and large Public playgrounds for children throughout Daniel Island 

Many choices for fast food resturants or fine dining with in walking distance from condo.

 Former World No. 1 and three-time Grand Slam Champion    Maria Sharapova has officially entered the 2011 Family Circle Cup.  A beautiful 5 min. walk from our condo. Concerts and other events listed on the site as well.

April    35th Annual Cooper River Bridge Run 2011.  Can view this event on you-tube.

May 27-June 13,  Charleston Piccolo Spoleto.  

Spoleto Festival USA was founded in 1977 as the American counterpart to the Festival dei Due Mondi (Festival of Two Worlds) in Spoleto, Italy. Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Gian Carlo Menotti began the Italian festival in 1958 as a forum for young American artists in Europe. The festival quickly became an artistic home for a large group of artists, both traditional and experimental, who found the mix of dance, theater, opera, music and the visual arts to be both exciting and stimulating.

 Charleston Annual Pajama Run. A 5K race to beat cancers below the waist. All proceeds benefit MUSC Cancer Center.

Charleston County has some amazing PARKS:

Cypress Gardens that offer a flat bottom boat ride through a blackwater swamp, flower gardens, Butterfly house, nature trails and wildlife exhibits.  This is about a 30-45 min minute drive from Condo 

James Island County Park has lots of anemities for a family or individual. It has a water park. Recommend googling.

Palmetto Island County Park also has lots to offer, has a good water park. It is a 10 minute drive from Condo.  I again recommend googling this

Wannamaker County Park is great on University Blvd in North Charleston is fun and has the biggest water park in Charleston Co. 

 Caw Caw County Park off Hwy 17 So. This park is know for the marsh and nature walking trails. A very interesting park for the nature lover.

Mullet Hall Equestrian Center at Johns Island County Park is tucked within 738-acres and serves as host site for competitive horse shows, festivals, events, exhibitions, and trail riding.  The site also boasts approximately 20 miles of trails winding through southern pines and moss draped oaks, alongside open meadows and farm fields. Mullet Hall does not offer riding lessons, rentals, or boarding

Folly Beach is a 30 minute drive from Daniel Island.  Known for beach music and a awesome public pier.  Great Fishing.

Isle of Palms Beach is a 10 minute drive from Daniel Island.  Great seafood resturants and shopping.  There is a Charleston County Park there for parking and a lifeguard on duty, showers and bathroom facilities, picnic tables all located right on the ocean front.

Sullivans Island Beach is also a short drive about 15 min from Daniel Island. Lots of history here with a museum and free walking tour of Ft. Moultrie.

Last but not Least! Botany Bay Plantation just opened in 2008.  This is located on Botany Bay Road on Edisto Island. This is another island/beach in lower Charleston County.  The cultural resources on Botany Bay Plantation WMA are extremely significant. Cultural resource sites dating from as early as the Late Archaic Period through the 19th century are present. Several sites including the Fig Island Shell Rings, outbuildings from Bleak Hall Plantation and elements of the Alexander Bache U.S. Coast Survey Line are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This is well worth the drive.  It is about a 1 hour drive from Daniel Island. A site you will never forget!

75.00 cleaning fee,  Also there will be a Key, a security faub, and a garage door opener issued on day of arrival, if on the departure they are not returned there will be a 50.00 each charge added to your card. Thankyou.

A invoice will be emailed to you with the reservation balance.  At this time 1/2 of the invoice is due.  The other half is paid 30 days before arrival.  There is a $150.00  non-refundable fee if canceled 60 days out.

Check out time is 11:00 am departure date.
