23 Egret is a spectacular, beautifully renovated, 2nd row, ocean view, 7 bedroom, 7.5 bath home with a heated pool* and spa* that sleeps up to 22 in spectacular North Forest Beach. Not only are you just steps to the beach, but the home is just 4 blocks from Coligny Plaza with its many shops and restaurants. What adds to the excitement of this home is the fact that a celebrated professional interior designer was chosen to renovate and create a home interior worthy of a spotlight in Coastal Living Magazine. This beautiful home was developed and planned to accommodate the large family reunion, for it includes an attached 2 bedroom, 2 bath "cottage" with kitchen and family room perfect for teens or for those wishing a little more privacy or a retreat. Therefore you will have 2 family rooms, 2 kitchens, along with views of the ocean which is just steps away, multiple balconies and generous parking for 7 cars. The remodeling is now complete as of January 2011. The color scheme will be soft greens, serene blues and splashes of corals throughout. The décor and colors have been chosen to provide a serene and tranquil living environment. 


The spacious living area, as part of the great room, offers multiple sunny windows with ocean and pool views, two beautiful sofas and custom coral accent pillows, an oversized club chair, two swivel rockers, a sand dollar colored entertainment center with flat screen TV and DVD, coffee table and round pedestal end tables. The dining area opens to both the family room and kitchen and offers seating for eight to ten. Situated along rows of windows, it overlooks the various multilevel decks. Adjacent to the dining area is the large kitchen, ample for any large group, with a center island with cook top stove and four breakfast bar stools. As part of this main floor living area are 2 bedrooms with private baths. At this time the bedding offered includes a king bed in one bedroom and two queens in the second bedroom. Each bedroom has a flat screen TV. Completing this main first floor is a half bath powder room. 


Up to the second floor are three additional bedrooms. The first is a grand master suite with a king bed, tray ceiling, multiple windows and a great ocean view including a view overlooking the pool and spa. It also offers a large sitting area with a sleeper sofa, TV and refreshment area with mini refrigerator as well as a private balcony. The large master bath has a spa tub, walk in shower with bench and skylight. The next spacious bedroom offers a king bed and day trundle bed, TV, private bath and balcony. The third bedroom offers a set of bunk beds and a day trundle bed, perfect as a dorm for the younger children. This bedroom has a private bath and TV with DVD. Completing this 2nd floor is a separate laundry room. 


The adjoining "cottage" makes this wonderful vacation retreat all the more unique. Attached to the main house, with its own private front door entrance and a side entrance through the parking area, is this cottage gem. Complete and cozy, it offers a living area to include a sleeper sofa, chair, coffee table and flat screen TV and DVD along with a large complete kitchen, laundry room and two bedrooms, each offering queen beds and private baths. This cottage offers the teens something they always wanted - "their own space." Or, it is perfect for the guests in your party where stairs can be a challenge or where a little more privacy would be appreciated or for the au pair helping with the children. 


The heated pool* and spa* is level with the main floor of the house and is surrounded by spacious decking. Offering views of the ocean, the deck offers a sunny retreat into a tranquil, fun environment terrific for relaxation and watching the kids playing in the pool. Multiple tables and chairs and gas grill will make this the favorite gathering place throughout the day. 


The path to the beach is directly across the lane which is just a matter of a few steps to the beach! Also, Hilton Head's largest outdoor shopping area, Coligny Plaza, is conveniently, located approximately just 4 blocks away and offers a large selection of shops and restaurants, including a supermarket.
