10 minutes from sturgis, 5 minute walk to downtown Deadwood casinos, bars and restaurants.  very close to Terry Peak ski Area and over 350 miles of  groomed snowmobile trails.  Needles Hiway, Iron Mountain Road, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and dozens of family attractions all located no more than 45 minutes away.

Nicely updated house in the scenic Blackhills of South Dakota. This house is perfectly located to all local points of interest and Deadwood. We used this house as our central location for visiting all local areas of interest including Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Devils tower. You will not be disappointed to stay here.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing

Wonderful vacation home

We spend 3 nights in this lovely home. It was perfect for our stay. There were 5 adults and we were really enjoyed our stay. It was wonderful home away from home. It was an easy drive to all the sights we wanted to see while in the area. We were all over 50 years of age and walked down town to Deadwood each day to enjoy the activity there also. There were also trolleys if needed. The owner was very helpful and had maps of the areas that we could use. I would highly recommend this home for your stay. It was just perfect for us.

Recommended for: age 55+, families with teenagers, sight seeing

Four of us stayed in this house on our motorcycle trip. The house is well stocked with cooking, eating and drinking utensils, a grill, a washer & dryer, dish washer, a TV in the living room, a TV in a sitting room upstairs, and in the upstairs bedroms. You can tell the house has been renovated/updated. The owners did not stock cheaply. The place has very comfortable furniture/beds, makes you feel right at home. The driveway is hard packed dirt/gravel. After the first day we figured out how to manuver our motorcycles to make it easeir to get in/out.

Accurate description, very clean and well maintained, will DEFINITELY recommend to friends. The rental price for the week was VERY REASONABLE compared to any other rental we looked at in the area. For a 3 BR, 2 bath house this was an EXCELLANT place to stay!! I myself am keeping the owners info in case I/we ever go back. Was within walking distance to town, BUT be prepared to hike up the hill; the first time was rough, after that, wasn't too bad. There are trolly stops every couple of blocks to take you from one end of Deadwood to the other. You can take the trolly for $1.00 and get a lay of the land before you go walking. The owners are easily accessible and helped with any questions we had.
