CradleCrest is a well-furnished, well-equipped, mountain vacation
rental cabin that provides rental accommodations for up to six people
(Additional space is available for larger groups). It is located in a
quiet and peaceful section of the north Georgia mountains, about a
mile from downtown Clayton, GA. Enjoy breathtaking views of the
mountains in an environment offering total relaxation.

Clayton is centrally located for easy and convenient access to all of
the attractions from Asheville, NC, to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, TN,
to Helen, GA, to Cherokee, NC, as well as the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Activities: There's plenty to do, from the morning sunrise
until way past the evening sunset. Available
activities in the Georgia mountains include sightseeing, photography,
golf, tennis, hiking along a variety of trails including the
Appalachian Trail, boating, biking, and trout fishing in the many
lakes and streams. You may also enjoy gem digging, shopping (outlets,
arts & crafts, flea markets, gifts and souvenirs), snow skiing,
horseback riding along the mountain ridges and slopes, swimming,
picnicking, gambling (at Harrah's Casino, in Cherokee, NC), apple
picking, and fine dining.

Adventure: If you like adventure and exploration, you may wish
to go on a backpacking trip, a canoeing adventure,
or go rafting or tubing down the rapids in the various riers such as
the Chatooga, the Chattahoochee, and the Nantahala. You may prefer
looking for arrowheads, exploring for caves or caverns, or
prospecting and panning for valuable gemstones or gold nuggets.

Wildlife: Interested in animals? Our guests have reported
seeing lots of wildlife near the cabin. Even a bear
or deer may occasionally meander through the yard. Bird watchers can
enjoy viewing a large variety of birds including eagles, owls,
tureys, and hummingbirds.

Music: How 'bout a little mountain music? Real mountain
folk frequently gather at various locations with
their guitars, harmonicas, harps, banjos, dulcimers, fiddles and
other instruments, to entertain you with picking, singing, clogging
and dancing to genuine mountain music. Many of their songs offer
tales of regional folklore, legends, and local history. You might
even hear some old fashioned hillbilly yodeling.

Rates are $65.00 per night, year-round. Minimum of 2 nights.
There is a maid service fee of $60.00 added to the total.
$100 Deposit will secure reservation & will be applied to total rent.
MasterCard and Visa are accepted.

Cancellation notices - at least one week ahead of arrival date for
full refund.

Bed linens are furnished.
Guests are expected to provide their own bath towels and face cloths.
