vacation rental description
Exterior: Located at 11614 E. Lake Rd. approximatewly 4.5 miles from Hammondsport. 55 feet of lake front The beach area consists of a walk-in shallow area that gradually deepens. Perfect for young children and launching boats. The pier extends into lake, has a large semi-grassey area, shade trees, a picnic table, chairs, a row boat, tie offs for a boat, and a fire pit. It is the perfect place to play outdoor games, have lunch, skip stones, fish or sit and enjoy a glass of wine. This area is across an access road and 4-6 cars can park here. The front yard is a grassey gradual slope with parking for 2 cars (tandem).The backyard has a stone pato with a picnic table and a gas grill/rotissarie..
Interior: The enclosed front porch has rocking chairs, overstuffed chairs and a marble table where you can enjoy breakfast, play games or put together a puzzle while watching the lake.. The view is terrific year around. The wainscoated living room looks out on the patio, has a sofa and three chairs (two recliners), a TV and an electric fireplace. The kitchen has a gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator freezer. A 1/2 bath is just off the kitchen as you enter the back door. The dining room has a large table that seats 8. Upstairs has hardwood floors throughout: Bedroom #1 has a double bed, bunkbeds and a dresser. Bedroom #2 and #3 each have a double bed and a dresser. There is a full bath with a tub and a shower . The cellar has a washer and dryer, a chest freezer, and some sports equipment.

This is a heated year 'round home. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan and window fans are provided. There is a phone available for local calls only. All windows are screened.
Cards, table games and puzzles are provided. There is Direct TV, a VCR/DVD player and a radio.
Coffee maker, toaster, pots, pans, dishes, and silverware, cooking utensils , dish towels, flour, sugar, salt, pepper, and some basic spices, garbage bags, tinfoil, plastic wrap, dish detergent as well as utensils for the grill (which has a rotiserie) will be there for your use. We also povide the propane.
Pillows and mattress covers are on each bed. For an additional per bed fee ($25) all linens will be provied including bath towels and beach towels.
NOT REALLY AMENITIES BUT VERY IMPORTANT
NO SMOKING IS ALLOWED
PETS: DOGS MUST BE HYPERALLERGENIC (CHECK WITH US) AND UNDER 25 LBS. NO MORE THAN TWO AT A TIME. THERE WILL BE AN ADDITIONAL $50.00 CHARGE FOR THEM. IF NEIGHBORS COMPLAIN ABOUT BARKING, POOP ETC. YOU WILL HAVE TO REMOVE THE DOG. OUR DAUGHTER HAS ALLERGIES AND WE LIKE TO MAINTAIN GOOD NEIGHBORS SO WE CANNOT BE MORE SERIOUS ABOUT THIS.
