Vacation Rental Description

Here is the ultimate in family beach houses.  Oregon Castaway puts  
the "ocean" in oceanfront!  Great for several families or larger  
groups with accommodations for up to 12 people.  Step off the deck and  
and walk 100 feet through the dunes onto the sand with miles of beach  
to explore.  Windows line the front for a spectacular 180 degree view  
of the Pacific Ocean, the Nehalem Jetty and Neahakanie Mountain.   
Relax on the large ocean side deck with lounge chairs for unwinding  
and listening to the waves.  Another deck off the recreational room  
is great for catching the morning sun. 
 
The spacious living room has a great view with a vaulted ceiling,  
wood stove and ceiling fan.  You can cozy up with a good book next to  
the wood stove or watch the storms roll in.  The TV has a DVD/VCR and  
Dish satellite.  There is a separate recreational room with another  
TV with a VCR and Dish satellite along with a foosball table.  There  
is a large selection of movies for you to enjoy.   
 
The large fully equipped kitchen has everything for your cooking  
needs.  The center island is a great gathering place while preparing  
meals.  The oceanfront dining table seats 10 and the cooking island  
seats 3. 
 
There are 2 queen bedrooms and another room with a queen futon.  The  
loft has 3 single beds, 2 doubles and a single futon.  There are 2  
bathrooms - one with a washer and dryer with a door to the outside. 
 
Wheather you come to the beach to relax and get away from it all or  
fill your day with the many activities available, Castaway is waiting

Activities and Attractions

There are many family activities to do in the area. Fishing,  
crabbing, clamming and kayaking in the Nehalem Bay to the north and  
Tillamook Bay to the south. You can visit the quaint towns of  
Manzanita, Nehalem, Wheeler and Rockaway with restaurants, gift shops  
and antique stores. You can also visit Cannon Beach with it's famous  
Haystack Rock and the many art and gift shops. Just 20 minutes south  
is Tillamook with it's famous Tillamook Cheese Factory.

Nov-Feb .............................$250/night (2 night minimum) 
Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Year's .. $400/night (4 night minimum) 
50% due within 10 days to hold reservation 
$300 refundable security deposit 
Balance due 30 days prior to arrival
